I don’t know whether the move was stupid or smart but I do know that it’s downright controversial. Prince’s new album ‘Planet Earth’ can be yours for free!
Prince has partnered up with the Mail On Sunday to give away copies of his new album to anyone who picks up the newspaper this weekend. His move to do so has since made record stores livid for taking away a huge amount of business for them.
Maybe Prince has something against capitalist economies and has then chosen to act against it by giving things away. Hey, he’s got the money to fund it and subsequently lose over it anyway. Leave him be.
