Tenor Potts grabs US record deal

Opera singer Paul Potts, the winner of TV’s Britain’s Got Talent, has signed a deal to release his debut album in 15 countries, including the US. The former mobile phone salesman won fans across the world after 10 million people viewed his winning performance on video-sharing site YouTube. The 36-year-old Welshman signed a £1m recording deal with show judge Simon Cowell after his win last month. Tell you what guys, this is the stuff dreams are made of expect if you are a person whose dreams just come to life when on a toilet seat. One morning you get up 9 in the morning and have a bag full of mobile handsets and you have to rush to catch the underground train to start the day’s job. The next morning you again get up at 9 in the morning but you have a million pound deal in your kitty and all those mobile phones you were planning to sell are ringing to congratulate you. Hopefully this man’s not one those good at copying hit music but not good at being a creative person when it comes to releasing his own album.
