She first showed off her singing ability in the movie ‘Across the Universe’ and now, she’s thinking about making a record. Evan said “Oh yeah, I would really love to. I’m probably even more passionate about music than acting, but I don’t want to do it half-assed. And when I do, I get to deal with the rumors flying around that my boyfriend wrote all my songs and that I’m just using him for a singing career! Wouldn’t that be great?”

Well, if he won’t write it, who will?

Jennifer Lopez has denied rumors that she is pregnant but I still don’t buy it. When asked about being pregnant she told, “No, no! We get this every week!” “I don’t mind when people talk about this…I get the interest. I’m not the only [celeb] who gets these rumors.” Everyone always talks about this “pregnancy glow” that pregnant ladies get. I definitely think she is pregnant. She’s always been in good shape, since she really hit it big anyway, and you can tell she’s gained weight. Her weight has never really fluctuated. Her body has always been toned – the arms, legs, stomach – everything. Now her face is rounder, she has a visible bump and her arms are getting fatter. All of these celebs try and hide their best kept secrets but this is one of those that won’t be under the wraps for long, in a couple of months if she is really pregnant the bump will be clearly visible and there shall be no ifs and buts on the issue.

The Smashing Pumpkins comeback tour was hit by tragedy in Richmond, British Columbia, on Monday when a fan died while crowd surfing. The unnamed 20-year-old was pronounced dead at the venue. My money is on a drug overdose, alcohol, or quite possibly both. Why else would somebody attempt to surf with no water around? Well what the headlines are saying that Smashing Pumpkins fan dies but why associate the band with his death, they in no ways responsible the fans they are a renowned band and were just playing for the crowd now if some as*hole comes to the concert wrecked up and in suicidal mood then who knows what’s he up to and what his intentions are. These are freakish accidents that happen, people should be responsible for their own acts and their parents should be the ones keeping a check on their children. The organizers have a duty to do but somehow fans are as much responsible as anyone else.

Elton John has become an unwitting participant in a British child-pornorgraphy investigation. An art photograph owned by the Rocket Man that features two naked young girl was seized Thursday from a British art gallery. This is a great way Elton has found to get into controversies, few months ago he was in danger of getting embroiled in another painting controversy when another painting he had bought from a French friend also probably (I am not sure of the year of purchase) which was thought to be a fake and the case was getting dragged way long and Elton’s name was under the scanner constantly. I think he needs to stay away from purchasing paintings for a while or else a few more controversies could lead to his down fall and his name could be in the list of people that are running a nude young girls art photograph racket. The naked body to a lot of “non perverted folks” is art. Anyways..hes likes guys. Hello

Pop star turned designer Gwen Stefani claims to have been on a diet since sixth grade. Yeah, everyone’s got this weight problem, everyone’s fears that eating normal things could turn you into an abnormal person and those who are abnormal are trying harder to shed some weight to look normal. But none of us want to be normal, neither fat nor skinny. What’s the problem with being normal size, I think being normal sized is the best health, you are free to eat with some limitation though and you are mostly in the pink of health. Parents fearing their children would get obese because someone in their family is obese are thinking for their kids, but there should be some thought on giving their children adequate diet and not keep stuffing them with a diet that latter gets them to have a stomach that cannot digest some food that they were never introduced to earlier in life.

If you could choose between a set of words to describe one Mariah Carey, which would you choose, balladeer queen or film production? According to some sources, the latter seems more fitting.

While everyone agrees that the diva looked divine at last week’s Save the Music Foundation gala but it took a whole third world country to keep her that way. NY Daily News is reporting that Mariah needed 9 staffers to perform “a ballet of maintenance” on her all night. There was even one whose only job was to “dispense breast tape”, one with brushes and hair spray and even one with portable hot rollers.

The Academy of Country Music’s Top New Female of 2003, Kellie Coffey, is back with a new independent album entitled Walk On. The follow-up release to her debut album, When You Lie Next to Me, was produced by Wayne Kirkpatrick (Little Big Town) and features 12 tracks, 11 co-written by Coffey. The video for the first single, “I Would Die For That,” is exploding on YouTube with over 70,000 hits in only four weeks. This is what inspires me you know, to see an un-contracted artist who has no backing of the huge funds that are made available by record companies to their artist and yet she has the confidence and the exuberance to cut yet another independent album and the same has been very well received by the audience. Walk On, is the kind of deep introspective album that most artists aspire to make. “We wrote songs about our life experience and what moved us,” Coffey said of her co-writers. I wish her success and may it go on to become one of the year’s biggest selling independent albums, go baby go, chalk your own path free of those head banging record companies.

I pretty much assumed that any celebrity who is famous on MTV is probably an asshole in real life. I just wasn’t surprised to hear that Nelly Furtado is a jerk when she goes to restaurants. Well famous people can pretty much get away with treating anyone anyway they want and that’s the sad truth. I can see both Nelly and Justin being big-headed divas who want nothing but what they want and go to Rain just because of the status. Can’t say I’m surprised to hear that about Furtado. I spent a year while in high school working part-time at a five-star establishment, where lots of famous people dined and stayed in the adjoining hotel. Not all, but sadly a lot of them have superiority complexes. What those assholes don’t know tho is…the meals that end up on their tables or room service trays usually aren’t in the best sanitary state…if you know what I mean. She’s just another typical spoiled, vapid and ungrateful celebrity. And her music sucks too.

I will say it’s disgusting that the creep made this comment about two American women. He has no business making any comment about killing them and in a nasty manner to boot. As far as the actual photo goes…it just reminds me of how far Britney has fallen…Madonna sucked the life and career out of her. Well he doesn’t need to do anything to Britney Spears, she fallen of grace and her career is wrecked already. Just leave Britney alone, she already has limited resources of survival. Madonna, I do not like her at all.

There it is, we all know that Pavarotti has indeed left something from his fortune for his second wife. Last week his daughters had said that in his will there was nothing to suggest that any amount was for his second wife but surprisingly he has left her $ 21 Million in the form of a trust for his second wife, Nicoleta Matovani. The surprise revelation was in the final will drafted on July 29th, five weeks before Pavarotti’s Death. I knew that there was going to be something that Pavarotti would have left behind for his second wife, and I also felt that his daughters would not have known about the changes to the will. Now there is going to be a fight for the money, his daughters will be contesting the validity of this will and surely would like to contest the genuineness of this will. Now we will see a court battle where the first will and the second will shall be presented an then who’s share is how much- There will be a dog fight and the one who can break the others bone shall trumpet. All this for a dead mans money.

You guys really need to pull your head out of your X@@##!. Give the girl a break. She’s one of the most beautiful singers out there. You need to quit comparing her to other people. She’s going through a rough time right now and it’s hard to get your sh*t together when you have people judging your every move. Most of us would look just as bad in the parenting department if we had people who worked for us and paps filming our every move. Get a new topic. She’s been picked on enough. She needs everyone to back off and give her time to straighten out her act. People in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones. You guys are like a dog with a bone. You complain about everything this poor girl does. Maybe you all should take a good look in the mirror and really think about the dumb or careless things you have done. She’s young, and with the help of her family I hope she can overcome all her troubles and begin a happy, less publicized life with her children.

It’s raining men no it’s actually raining pregnant Hollywood beauties. Salma Hayek is pregnant and expecting a child anytime, then Halle is pregnant of 3 months and Christina Aguilera has also confirmed pregnancy and now we have Hottie Jennifer Lopez who is pregnant. It seems it’s just that time of the year where all the beautiful woman are pregnant, oh yeah, how could I be forgetting Nicole Richie as well is pregnant. Nicole hasn’t been in the news to much since her announcement, and it feel nice not to have to write about her. Jennifer is a great singer, performer herself and these might be exciting times for her. Because she’s miscarried in the past, the couple did vitro fertilization and now J.Lo could be pregnant with twins. J.Lo and her people are waiting a couple of weeks to make the announcement public, because she has miscarried in the past.

50 Cent, who is in a much-hyped battle of album sales with Kanye West, has canceled several performances in Europe. MTV News said the 31-year-old rapper canceled performances at the MOBO Awards and the Vodafone Live Music Awards, both in London on Wednesday, and a performance for MTV in Germany on Friday.

No details were posted on the rapper’s Web site, and Polydor Records, 50 Cent’s record label in Britain, wasn’t immediately available for comment Monday.

MTV said the rapper canceled the appearances due to changes in his schedule.

50 Cent, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, had said he’ll retire as a solo artist if West’s new album, “Graduation,” outsells his latest CD, “Curtis,” in first-week sales.

West, 29, beat 50 Cent to the No. 1 spot on Britain’s album chart Sunday, with 50 Cent in the No. 2 spot, the Official UK Charts Company said on its Web site. No sales figures were posted. U.S. sales figures will be available this week.

Are these two idiots blind or simply unfeeling as hell? The girl has been kicked and harassed to the point that she won’t even raise her head when she’s on stage and all they can say is, “Bow down one more time if you want to “deserve” our friendship?”
The girl is probably shoving everyone away because SHE IS HURT. She shaved her head for God’s sake to try and get people to leave her the X@@##! alone! It doesn’t take a X@@##! brain surgeon to see she’s stressed out nor does it take a therapist to see that what she needs is support and understanding. Britney doesn’t need friends like this. Nobody needs friends like this. Britney needs people around her who are willing to help her build her confidence again, not insist she get down on her knees and beg for forgiveness. She’s better off without them. I can’t wait until she kills herself. It’ll be sickening to see how many of these X@@##! swear they “did all they could to help her.”

Billboard magazine has picked for its first “Woman of the Year” award. The magazine says the award coincides with its second annual Women in Music issue, which will be published in early October.

Billboard Group editorial director Tamara Conniff says the country star was chosen for the honor because of her wide success in music, television, movies and publishing.

“Reba is an inspiration to women everywhere and we are delighted to be presenting her with this award,” Conniff said.

McEntire, 53, has a new album of duets coming out next week that pairs her with artists such as Justin Timberlake, Don Henley, Kelly Clarkson, Kenny Chesney, Carole King and Faith Hill.

“I am thrilled to be selected as Woman of the Year by Billboard,” McEntire said in a statement. “Although my career has taken me to TV, film and Broadway, music is and always will be my first love. I am touched to be embraced in such a warm way.”

McEntire grew up on a cattle ranch in Oklahoma, where her father, Clark McEntire, was a champion calf roper.

After being discovered by cowboy singer Red Steagall in 1974, she struggled through the late ’70s to build a singing career in Nashville. She scored her first major hit in 1980 with “(You Lift Me Up) to Heaven.” Her other No. 1 hits include “Little Rock” and “What Am I Gonna Do About You.”

Amen to that!!! Imagine if Britney works out for a year…and stays out of the press being careful to keep her body covered…and then “Bam”…she returns to show off her new hard body? That would blow everyone away!!! And I could see her return with an album called “Breaking The Addiction”…an album about her rise and fall…and her return to believing in herself again and getting cleaned-up from addiction…and not only addiction to drugs or alcohol, but addiction to people and bad behavior. It could be a really wonderful “Theme Album”…about finding her self esteem again, and learning to put her kids first, and thus finding her path back to being a good mother, and mending fences with her family and fans!!! This, as well as learning to cut certain so-called friends out of her life, who have only acted to lead her toward the cliff of self destruction, not away from it, for the sole purpose of using her for her name, money and her fame. Now, that’s the album that I want to hear…one that will win Grammy after Grammy!!!

Britney Spears – the next Sanjaya? American Idol, which seems to specialize in turning embarrassing performances into gold, has offered to do a little of the same for Spears “We have decided we can bring Britney back,” Idol judge Simon Cowell says in offering to help Spears’s career. “We are serious. We plan to buy her underpants, get her bigger shorts to perform in and get her away from her stupid friends.” So the idea is simple get her under garments so that her fat ass is not exposed again, nice boxing shorts so she looks like more fatter, and get her away from her stupid friends and then have Paula Abdul, Randy Jackson and Simon as friends who are even bad if not worse. This is the mantra that the American Idol judges have to ruin a career that’s finished and being thrown into the ocean already. Please the only help she needs right now is to forget her and do not pay attention to her, she’s a grown lady and a mom, she can take care of herself if someone allows her to do so.

Jennifer Lopez closed out NY Fashion week by launching her new Just Sweet collection for Spring 08. J.Lo has taken over then entire fashion world. She has her affordable denim line and also a high end couture line, Sweetface and now she has found something in between. Basically, this woman has something for everyone and at all price ranges. That all does this lady do, a successful singer, actress and a fashion designer. That’s the real advantage you have when you are a global celebrity, you have an easy shot at doing all that you’d like to and just use your name in the brand and be associated with it enough, like being at the launch of a new collection, be there when it’s being displayed at a store and so forth. If you have the slightest of talents and work with the right in house designers then could meet with success. I am really starting to admire this lady for the work and efforts she puts in and with her songs being such a success, her movies doing well at he box office and her clothes being in the reach of daily users.

Britney Spears performs her new single “Gimme More” at the MTV Video Music Awards.

R&B singer Ashanti attended to the 2007 MTV Video Music Awards on September 9th and to an After-Party at TAO club in Las Vegas hosted by Jermaine Dupri with boyfriend rapper Nelly.

Ashanti will visit the US show “Live With Regis & Kelly” on Monday, September 17th to promote her upcoming movie “Resident Evil: Extinction” which hits theaters on September 21st.

Ashanti’s fourth studio album entitled “The Declaration” is set for release now on December 4th. This is the official follow up to “Concrete Rose” released in 2004.
