Country music superstar John Rich of the band Big & Rich believes that gays and lesbians are merely second class citizens that do not deserve to be granted equal rights. It’s not really any news, I just think it’s sad and so close-minded.
The Tennessean got an interview with him and John said he is a supporter of Fred Thompson’s presidential bid because he is a conservative who agrees with Fred’s voting record of being pro-life and being against gay marriage. John told the paper, “I think if you legalize that, you’ve got to legalize some other things that are pretty unsavory.â€
