I guess someone still likes Avril Lavigne as she was recently awarded with the Certificate of Honor from the China Association of Social Workers recently. The 24-year old Canadian singer had helped to raise funds for poor families and children with disabilities in China during her Best Damn Tour. She even presented gifts to children from China’s earthquake stricken Sichuan province. Avril also performed her last stop on her world tour at Beijing’s Wukesong Indoor Stadium. I guess even the biggest of douche bags can still do good things. Kudos go out to Avril! If anything, she can quit the singing and go for the humanitarian route if she wants to gain more fans.

The official soundtrack listing for the movie ‘Twilight’ was recently released on the official website of Stephanie Meyer. Interestingly enough, there’s a song called ‘Never Think’ by Rob Pattinson. It’s the first time that he’s ever recorded or release music. The rest of the list includes Muse’s ‘Supermassive Black Hole’, Paramore’s ‘Decode’ and ‘I Caught Myself’, The Black Ghosts ‘Full Moon’, Linkin Park’s ‘Leave Out All the Rest’, MuteMath’s ‘Spotlight (Twilight Mix)’, Perry Farrell’s ‘Going All the Way (Into the Twilight)’, Collective Soul’s ‘Tremble for My Beloved’, Blue Foundation’s ‘Eyes on Fire’, Iron & Wine’s ‘Flightless Bird, American Mouth’ and Carter Burwell’s ‘Bella’s Lullaby’.

While Madonna and Guy Ritchie find new ways after divorce, the British Columbian-born singer Nelly Furtado has revealed her marriage.
During an interview with “Entertainment Tonight Canada”, she confirmed that she wed her sound engineer Demacio “Demo” Castellon during the summer.
Furtado said, “We got married July 19th. I love it. It’s a nice phase of my life.”
The singer further added, “I just feel kind of free and relaxed and more in tune with trying not to be so stressed out. [I’m] trying to enjoy things a little more.”
She should be enjoying and moaning every moment of her new life.
After all a sound engineer knows from where her best moans are generated.
