According to close friends of the singer/addict, he’s demanded $1.6 million to walk away from his ‘marriage’ to Amy and to keep quiet about the going-ons within the marriage.
He thinks he’s worth that much?
The reason why her friend disclosed this info to the News of the World because he was telling the UK media last week that he didn’t want any of her money.
Yeah right!
The snitch also tells them paper, “That’s all pretense — Blake has asked Amy’s manager for £1 million (US$1.6 million) to walk away from their marriage and not write a tell-all book about it. He’s so two-faced. He just wants a pay-off. Money’s his driving force.”
Apparently, Winehouse is supposedly worth $14.6 million and he’s entitled to at least $ 4 million of it!
She should get a good lawyer!
Leona Lewis made a cover of Snow Patrol’s ‘Run’ and it has become the UK’s fastest selling digital-only track, as reported by BBC. About 70,000 people downloaded the song in the first two days that it came out. Leona beat Estelle who sold 51,857 downloads of ‘American Boy’ in a week. Leona managed to beat her in 2 days! BBC also mentioned that Leona’s ‘Bleeding Love’ is iTunes’ most popular downloaded track of 2008. Leona kicked some major butt this past year. I hope her success continues on for many years to come. She has the star power to accomplish that as long as she doesn’t do drugs or go crazy.
Tori Amos is gearing up to release her tenth album next year on a new record label. The piano prodigy has recently signed up with Universal Republic Records, the home of Mika and Amy Winehouse, for her upcoming album. Fans can expect more than just music from Tori too. A press release says that every track on the album will be accompanied by a corresponding visual, featuring footage that has been captured over the past year. The videos are shot in HD and Super 8 and will be incorporated in a documentary style. Look out for Tori’s new stuff in late spring or early summer next year.

Whatever the reasons are, the Grammy Award singer is a proud and happy single dad to his four-month twins named Matteo and Valentino.
Martin, who is based in Puerto Rico, is enjoying single blessedness and domesticity while taking care of the twins. He said he personally changes their diapers, bathes and feeds them and even puts them to sleep. The children were conceived through artificial insemination. Martin said he thought of adoption but went for surrogacy as it was a faster option. He has a personal assistant though who takes care of him while he is taking care of his twins.
The 36-year old Latino singer said he loves to read books to his twins and even play music for them even at this early age. His sons are already showing different personalities with Valentino the serene one and Matteo the more active one.
