R Kelly is starting the new year off with a finalized divorce from his wife of 11 years, Andrea Lee Kelly. Wait a minute, he was married?! The couple will have joint custody of their two kids? He has two kids?! Apparently, it’s a divorce that’s been 4 years in the making, starting when Andrea filed an emergency protective order back in 2005 amid claims that the singer was physically abusive. She filed for divorcein 2006. They got married in 1996 after Andrea auditioned for R Kelly. She went on to direct the choreography for his tours, videos and live performances.

Carrie Underwood looked like a princess when she hit the red carpet at the 2009 People’s Choice Awards which were held at the Shrine Auditorium last week in Los Angeles. During the ceremony, the American Idol alum performed her ballad ‘I Know You Won’t’ complete with a full orchestra. She recently talked to People about the song saying “It’s a really emotional song about a guy who just wont call. We’ve all had that happen, right?” I wonder who she’s singing that song about? Chace Crawford? Tony Romo? My inquiring mind wants to know. And I bet that I’m not the only one.
