Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony turned up the attention whoring factor with their blatant public display of affection at the Western Ball last Tuesday night in Washington, DC. The couple even performed a duet while gazing into each other’s eyes and kissing at the end. Singing ‘She Sang to Me’, Marc even claimed that the song was written for his wife. I think that’s a little bit over-doing it. You want people to believe that you’re not divorcing and not more suspicious as to why you’re acting way too sweetly towards each other. I’m willing to bet that they went back to their hotel room and stayed at opposite corners.
This is so typical of so many Hollywood celebrities to stake claim that they paved the way for the success of today’s stars’ and the latest to join the bandwagon of self preaching celebrities is Paula Abdul who says she is behind the success of Rihanna & Beyonce.
She says, “My videos stand the test of time. They are like the almanac for every performer. Even Rhianna has come up to me and said ‘I hope you don’t mind.’ And Beyonce You can see the influence of what I’ve done. It’s really fun to see that I’ve left a mark. It was my idea to create an animated character. It takes a lot of focus, a lot time, and a lot of money.”
I won’t be too critical of her cos’ I have heard her song “Straight Up” and it is one of the BEST songs & I STILL dance to it! But ok even if you have done some good work and created new path for the new generation just stop claiming that you’re the messiah. When someone states something like that for publicity, they are taking a chance of being laughed at!
