Natalie Cole was hospitalized back in September 2008 for several health issues. The singer has been diagnosed with Hepatitis C and has been trying to battle the disease with chemotherapy. The58-year old is currently waiting for a kidney transplant to help put an end to the dialysis she has to go through three times a week. In an interview she said “My son may be a possible [donor] match. It’s very sweet and kind of strange to have people offer something like that.” Despite her medical issues, she didn’t let that stop her from touring worldwide these past six months. Let’s hope she gets a transplant soon and recovers quickly.

Grammy nominated Brit songstress Adele has succeeded where many have failed. The singer has found success in America and has charmed Vogue boss Anna Wintour. Adele will be appearing in an upcoming Vogue spread shot by photographer Annie Liebovitz. At one of her fittings, Adele was called by Miss Wintour. Adele said of the meeting “It was just like ‘The Devil Wears Prada.’ It was amazing. I was really frightened and I went in and she was so nice. She was like, ‘What labels do you like?’ I was trying to make up these designers that I was quite sure I had read in ‘Vogue’ or something before.” The Vogue editor even offered to Style the singer for the Grammys this Sunday.

Despite having 17 Latin Grammy awards to his name and selling millions of records, Colombian pop singer Juanes was spotted bargain shopping with his model wife, Karen Martinez, and daughters at a Target store in Miami last week. You would think that Juanes has enough money to his name considering his accomplishments. It just goes to show that it doesn’t matter what your status in life is, everyone is getting affected by the recession. Or maybe he’s just being a smart guy and saving his money for what’s really important instead of the superficial stuff. It’s good to be able to save on some things.

Jamie Foxx is already a draw just by himself but he certainly doesn’t cut corners when he called upon a few of his most famous friends in Hollywood to star in the music video for his new single ‘Blame It’ which comes off of his latest album ‘Intuition’. The album is already out now. The 41-year old singer was joined by the likes of Jake Gyllenhaal, Forest Whitaker, Samuel L. Jackson, director Ron Howard, Cedric the Entertainer and Quincy Jones. The video was directed by Hype Williams. Jamie’s new video will premiere on the week of February 9th though I’m not entirely sure of the day.

The nominations were announced for the 51st Annual Grammy Awards. 2009 Grammy Award will take place on February 8, 2009.
