You Thought So!

New American Idol favorite Adam Lambert brings back memories of Idol winner David Cook. Adam Lambert, who has made it to the Top 12 of the Talent Search, has been tagged as a possible Jonas Brother. The Idol hopeful however said he could be the older evil step-brother of the three siblings. Much like David Cook, Adam Lambert has that edgy look and rock and roll star quality. Some folks however liken him to the “Twilight” vampires. This just goes to show how many opportunities are available for Adam Lambert whether or not he wins in this year’s talent search.

Adam Lambert, who said he is a fan of the Twilight books, got a thumbs up from the four American Idol judges for his colorful and unique interpretation of the Rolling Stones’ “I Can’t Get No Satisfaction”. The singer’s intense performance can be attributed to his theater background which he said he did to pay the bills. Adam Lambert is however setting his eyes on rock and pop so expect a lot of that beat from him even when doing other songs. He admitted to being a risk taker and said the viewers should not always expect something digestible from him all the time.

The singer has admitted in an interview that she is very keen on having children with her current fiancée Antonio de la Rua. Here’s what Shakira said, also commenting on her relationship with her fiancée: “The fact is I’m not very traditionalist. We live together as husband and wife, we don’t need anything to make it official, especially not for the paparazzi or magazines. Why fix things that aren’t broken? But I do want to have lots of babies with him.” I don’t understand why everybody thinks they need to save the human species all of a sudden. Shakira doesn’t have to worry, we’ll all be extinct eventually no matter how many babies she has. And another thing: Shakira has been engaged since 2001 and yet she has no plans of ever getting married. So then, what was ever the point of the engagement? She couldn’t hold out in the relationship unless they were engaged?
