White Stripes star Meg White is engaged to guitarist Jackson Smith, a rep for the star has confirmed.
White, 34, will marry Smith, whose parents are rock legends Patti and Fred Smith, later this year.
The marriage will be the second for White, who was previously married to bandmate Jack White in 1996 but they divorced four years later.
White, has since married model Karen Elson and they have two children together.
A rep said to PEOPLE.com: “I can confirm Meg and Jackson will be married some time this year.”

The odds of American Idol’s fourth judge Kara DioGuardi sticking around after this season is over are looking mighty slim. I’m not really surprised. The newest addition to the Idol panel told reporters last week that “I’m only here for one season. That’s what we’ve discussed. So we’ll see what happens.” Rumors have ran rampant that Kara was brought in to allow Paula Abdul a smooth exit from the show but the plan obviously backfired. Simon Cowell recently spoke about his concerns about the show saying “The only say I have is about Ryan, Randy and Paula… I’ve always made it clear that I wouldn’t like to do the show without them. So that’s all I’m really concerned about.” He basically said that if one of those three walked out of the show, he walks too. It looks like the execs at FOX didn’t think things through.
