Jessica Simpson on Vanity Fair

Jessica Simpson is featured on the cover of the June 2009 issue of Vanity Fair. What the heck did she do to merit a cover of a magazine? Maybe father and manager Joe Simpson bought her place on the cover just to have people keep talking about her. Boyfriend, Dallas Cowboys quarterback, Tony Romo also sat with the magazine for a joint interview. Tony talks about having a supportive girlfriend while Jessica talks about everything from ignoring the media criticisms of her to ex-husband Nick Lachey, to the show ‘Newlyweds’, to her faith. I truly do not understand what she’s doing there.

No Doubt on American Idol

No Doubt was on the American Idol stage to perform their classic ‘Just A Girl’. Gwen Stefani’s voice seems to have matured from the early years and I think she would have given a better vocal if she didn’t move around so much. I’m not quite sure why she decided to do some push ups either. It was a pretty fun performance to watch though. After the performance, Ryan Seacrest said how he was nervous about her moving around because of the accident that took place earlier this week on the set saying how it was a high risk set. We’re all glad that nothing bad happened though.
