Cyndi Lauper Gets Sued

A German company is claiming that they got the big blow off from singer Cyndi Lauper and they are suing the iconic pop star for $800,000 while they’re at it. Moderne Welt claims that Cyndi and her agent William Morris agreed to do seven concerts in Germany that were supposed to take place in July of this year. In the Federal lawsuit, Welt claims that nine days after Cyndi’s agent gave them the go-ahead, they were informed that the deal was off “due to film and television commitments”. Cyndi has a career in TV and movies? The company is seeking $800,000 for the cost of the publicity of the shows, plane tickets and a bunch of other stuff.

Confirmed: Jennifer Hudson is Pregnant

A baby shower thrown this past Saturday has confirmed that Jennifer Hudson is pregnant. The Chicago Tribune reported that the baby bash went down at a relative’s home in downtown Chicago. Jennifer’s singer/actress friend Felicia Fields revealed “It was a baby shower, a quiet gathering of friends and mostly family. They’re really trying to keep it kind of quiet. It was a nice time that we had. They don’t know [the gender]. More yellow.” Her fiancé, former reality TV star David Otunga, was also in town. He’s currently pursuing a pro wrestling career. Congratulations to the expectant parents! I hope this baby gives them both a lot of happiness.
