Congresswoman Wants to Honor Michael Jackson

At the Michael Jackson memorial that went down last week, Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee made a promise to have the US House of Representative honor the King of Pop. The Texas Democrat took the stage at the Staples Center event and presented a framed copy of the resolution, embossed with a gold seal. The motion has been debated and has come with great opposition. New York Republican representative Peter King recently called the late King of Pop a “pervert, child molester, pedophile” on a posted YouTube video last week and vowed to do whatever was necessary to oppose the honoring of the singer.
