Michael Jackson was so convinced he was going to die he even warned his daughter Paris, according to a new book – Unmasked: The Final Years of Michael Jackson.
Despite reports that he was fit and healthy, Jackson knew he was fading fast and was unlikely to survive his exhausting series of comeback shows at London’s O2 arena, according to the book. And he was so concerned he even told Paris, 11, that he feared he would soon be dead, it is claimed.
Author Ian Halperin said Jackson had the heart-to-heart with Paris about a month before he died – and told her he had only weeks to live.
“He called her into his room and told her not to get mad at him if he didn’t make it to Father’s Day,” one of Jackson’s closest friends allegedly told the biographer. “He felt extremely ill. Unfortunately, no one wanted to help him.”
Halperin says one female aide had told him prior to Jackson’s death: “Someone wants him dead. They keep feeding him pills like candy. They are trying to push him over the edge. He needs serious help. The people around him will kill him.”
