Despite reports that she has been cut, both Simon Cowell and Ryan Seacrest are more than positive that Paula Abdul will be returning to American Idol next season. Paula’s camp recently told the media that the judge has yet to receive a contract for season nine of the hit reality talent show from production head 19 Entertainment and FremantleMedia, but her co-stars are lobbying for her. Simon said “She’ll be fine. She’ll be on the show. I don’t get a lot of say. I’ve just made it clear that I want Paula on the show. Full stop.” I wonder if he’ll walk out on his contract if they don’t get Paula on the show.

Katherine Jackson Wants to Control Michael’s Estate

Michael Jackson’s will states otherwise but his mother Katherine Jackson is trying to seek some sort of control on the late singer’s estate. The King of Pop’s will, written in 2002, states that his attorney John Branca and music exec John McClain as the co-executors of his estate. However, Katherine wants to know if she can legally “object the appointment” of Branca and McClain and “suggest an alternate appointment”. Michael’s estate is said to be worth over $500 million! However, the will also states that anyone who decides to contest it will be disinherited. A judge will decide on the claim on the same day of the hearing for the guardianship of Michael’s three children.
