Pamela Anderson has admitted she is ’so much hotter’ in her mind than in real life.

The 42-year-old beauty admitted to feeling insecure but insists she doesn’t let it get her down.

She said: “I’m so much hotter in my mind! I always feel good – sometimes the reality just isn’t as great. But I don’t obsess on it. I know what I’ve got and I’m happy enough with it.”

Pamela also admitted that she wasn’t the hot girl at school, adding: “I was a tomboy. I never wore make-up until I came to LA. I didn’t understand girlie stuff – I excelled at sports instead. I was a nymphomaniac, though!”

The former Baywatch star is mum to two sons Brandon, 13, and Dylan, 11, and she admitted the boys know how their mum shot to fame.

She said: “The boys know I got famous for getting naked. They’ve been to the Playboy Mansion, they’ve met Hugh Hefner. They understand what I’ve done.

“But Brandon is in sixth grade and the older kids are so mean. He comes to me with tears in his eyes: ‘I defend you so much, Mom. I defend your honor’.

“Once I found him on YouTube, and I was so scared of what he might find I took the computer away for a week. I’ve been very careful to protect them as much as I can.”

A sex-tape of Pamela and her ex-husband Tommy Lee on their honeymoon was leaked on to the internet but Pamela said she has never seen the tape.

Asked if she has watched it, she said: “Never. I don’t want to see it. I haven’t even seen an episode of Batwatch.”

A 1984 portrait of Michael Jackson by Andy Warhol is expected to fetch millions when is auctioned in New York later this month.

Warhol’s painting of actress Liz Taylor, fetched $23.7m in 2007.

“The portrait was painted at the height of their careers and is a celebration of two of the great talents in global cultural history,” Lehr said of the Jackson painting.

It will be on show ahead of the sale at London’s British Music Experience, inside the O2 Arena, where Jackson had been due to perform on his comeback tour, before his death in June at the age of 50.
