According to a filming schedule that was obtained by Life & Style, Miley Cyrus is set to appear in a scene of the sequel to the highly successful movie ‘Sex and the City’. A day of shooting, specifically on October 16, has been carved out for the teen singer. An insider said that they have asked the Disney star for the appearance but that she hasn’t confirmed yet. As of now, they are just holding the space for her. I wonder what her role would be. A pole dancer, perhaps? No, wait – that was from a different show. Couldn’t they have gotten someone else?
Michael Jackson’s family is upset over the charities that are supposed to get 20% of the King of Pop’s estate. However, I think the family’s concert is premature because no charities have been picked yet and no money will be donated for somewhere between 1 and 2 years. Under the terms of the trust, the singer gave charities 20% of the value of his estate. The thing is, no one knows exactly how much the estate is worth and until it’s determined, no money will be going out. The creditor’s claims are still being filed and it will take up to 2 years for the estate and the probate judge to settle the creditor’s claims and determine the net value of the estate.
US President Barrack Obama has called hip-hop star Kanye West a “jackass” over his antics at the MTV Video Music Awards.
The colourful remark was made during an interview with US network CNBC and was meant to be kept off the record.
But the comment leaked out to news sites after a news reporter from rival network ABC posted the comment on micro-blogging site Twitter.
“Pres. Obama just called Kanye West a ‘jackass’ for his outburst at VMAs when Taylor Swift won. Now THAT’S presidential,” reporter Terry Moran wrote.
Rapper West interrupted country music starlet Taylor Swift’s acceptance speech during the music awards show on Sunday night.
After invading the stage he whisked the microphone away from the 19-year-old singer, who was collecting Best Female Video for You Belong With Me.
He then turned to the audience and shouted that the gong should have gone to his friend Beyonce, for Single Ladies.
