I think I’ve figured out the reason why Kanye West got up on stage during Taylor Swift’s acceptance speech. The spotlight-taking rapper had his own bottle of Hennessy at the VMAs last Sunday night. It’s not a flash or one of those mini bottles but a full on bottle. As he made his way from the red carpet and all the way to his seat, he kept chugging down the alcohol and even offered some to Joe Jackson, Pete Wentz and his girlfriend Amber Rose. Next time, I suggest that he leave the booze at home and just stay in your seat. Or maybe they should just stop inviting him to these things.
Singer Beyonce’s new fragrance is set to hit shops in Spring 2010.
Celebrity fragrance factory Coty will stock the former Destiny’s Child members scent and the deal could earn the Halo singer up to US$20 million over three years.
The wife of rapper Jay-Z told WWD: “For me, fragrance reflects a woman’s attitude and unique sense of style.”
She added: “While I love various perfumes, I haven’t found a scent that truly personifies me as a woman. Working with Coty, I was able to turn my ideal fragrance into a reality by creating an alluring and sophisticated fragrance; one that’s reflective of my inner power.”
Having previously been the face of massive perfumes such as Tommy Hilfiger’s True Star, the star will now be the face of her own fragrance.
Chris Brown was spotted laughing and joking as he began his 180-days of community service for beating Rihanna.
The 20-year-old singer was seen cutting down weeds, picking up rubbish and carrying off a broken fence near to his home in Richmond, Virginia.
The shamed RnB star was dressed in an orange vest, white tank top, baggy jeans and red baseball cap as he cleared debris near to the roadside.
The judge in charge of his case specifically asked for Brown to conduct manual work.
Brown assaulted Rihanna as the then couple left a pre-Grammy party in the early hours of February 8.
He entered a guilty plea to felony assault on June 22 in a deal that allowed him to avoid jail time. He was sentenced to five years probation and six months of community labor.
Under the terms of the agreement, Brown must also not speak or meet with Rihanna.
