In a rare event, Miley Cyrus kept it classy in a Dsquared2 gown on the red carpet at the 2009 VH1 Divas which was held at New York’s Brooklyn Academy of Music last Thursday. The 16-year old singer performed her hit song ‘Party in the USA’. Thank God she left the pole dancing gig at home! During the show, the Disney star also performed Sheryl Crow’s hit ‘If It Makes You Happy’ with Sheryl herself. Talk about being relegated. I feel awful for Sheryl being paired with Miley really. Not that their performance sucked, I just think Miley generally sucks.

Singer Taylor Swift has said that she thinks rapper Kanye West’s apology “was sincere”.

When West phoned the country singer to apologise for all the drama at the recent MTV Video Music Awards, Swift, 19, thought Kanye seemed sincere.

She told Sirius XM’s Morning Mash Up radio show: “I’ve been alive for 19-and-a-half years, and I’ve experienced a few different kinds of apologies, and that one was sincere.”

Kanye, 32, also went on the Jay Leno TV programme to show Swift how sorry he was.

He said on the show: “I’m just ashamed that my hurt caused someone else’s hurt.”
