Michael Jackson’s nanny allegedly focus of police drug investigation
The nanny Michael Jackson fired, who was then rehired by his mother after his death, is now under police suspicion, the UK’s News of the World newspaper has claimed.
The newspaper claims it has sighted police reports of prescription drugs sent to a rented mail box owned by Grace Rwaramba, 42.
Rwaramba is currently caring for Jackson’s three children in the employ of Katherine Jackson.
Rwaramba owned a key to the box which was located in a postal service shop on South Beverley Drive, Beverly Hills and paid for it with a credit card, the paper claims.
She is reported to have given the shop a false address, that of Big Brother TV firm Endemol, as her residential address.
And prescription drugs addressed to different names were mailed to the box, the paper alleges.
Meanwhile, a family friend of Jackson’s, Romonica Harris, 42, has given testimony to the Drug Enforcement Agency and California Attorney General to claim that Rwaramba fuelled Jackson’s drugtaking.
A Chicago schoolteacher, Harris stated: “Grace supplied him with drugs and refused to allow any family members or friends to help him.
“She blocked off anyone who wanted to help Michael to get healthy and productive. She is in love with him and refused to completely leave his employment.
“She expected Michael to marry her but he refused. She used his children to stay connected to him and had them calling her Mommy.”
She told the News of the World: “In my opinion Grace was the No 1 enabler in his life.”
A spokeswoman for Rwaramba has denied all the allegations.
