On November 3rd, you can start enjoying TV’s favorite show choir singing hits from ‘Don’t Stop Believin’ to ‘Defying Gravity’ without having to constantly rewind your TiVo. Columbia Records will be releasing ‘Glee: The Music, Volume 1’ which features 17 tracks from the show’s critically acclaimed first season. Considering that they only have under 10 shows on their belt, that’s huge! I think this will be enough to keep everyone satisfied until the cast goes on tour. Yes or no? I’m cool with this. I like their versions of the songs. I wonder what the track list of the album will be.
Garth Brooks has been retired from the music scene since 2000 but the country singer has recently signed on with the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas to perform at the Danny Gans Theater beginning next year. The country star is expected to perform for 16 weeks shortly after New Year’s. Garth also recently had press conferences in both Nashville and Vegas to announce further details. If for some reason you don’t know who this guy is, Garth has sold over 220 million albums worldwide since his first album back in 1989 and currently lives in Oklahoma with his fellow country singer wife Trisha Yearwood.
LeAnn Rimes has been out of the music scene for quite a while now but the country singer has apparently been writing down some songs for an upcoming album. The 27-year old recently told People, “Most of the stuff I’ve written [myself], so it’s definitely my life. [The songs are] down the middle between heartbreak and love. Part of my therapy is to write. I write with a lot of my best friends, so most of [our meetings] are therapy sessions that turn into songs.” I wonder if she has written anything about her affair with her co-star Eddie Cibrian.
