It seems that Shakira’s boyfriend isn’t all that comfortable with her being the hot symbol she is and has asked her the mellow it down with the sex-appeal, especially given her latest music video. Shakira related the following about the matter: “He did not expect that at all. When he saw me in my flesh-toned leotard bodysuit, he was like, ‘Could you not have worn a scarf at least.’” Poor guy… Shakira must not be doing his stress levels too good. Now there’s somebody who sacrifices for showbiz. But if Shakira actually tried another approach to her career, it might not garner her the same popularity so her boyfriend’s just going to have to get used to how things are now.
Although he’s attempting to sell footage of himself and ex-wife Jennifer Lopez, Ojani Noa claims that he does not have a sex tape. JLo’s shady ex said “They think I have a sex tape with her and that I’m trying to sell it. My tape is from our honeymoon, the wedding, us hanging out. There’s no nudity—maybe one spanking. There’s moments of her fighting with her mom…couples having fun and kissing. If someone has a sex tape, it’s not me.” Ojani is still fighting to release the mockumentary ‘How I Married Jennifer Lopez: The JLo and Ojani Noa Story’ but the singer/actress has continually shut him down with several lawsuits and injunctions.
The TV Guide Network recently announced that they will be broadcasting a new documentary produced by Simon Cowell, following the life and times of Susan Boyle. The network with premiere the film called ‘I Dreamed a Dream: The Susan Boyle Story’ on December 13 at 8PM and will “chronicle Boyle’s journey from obscurity to making global headlines with her angelic voice.” It’s amazing what a little help from a millionaire producer, an exploitative TV show and the internet can do for a lonely Scottish woman who dreamed of becoming a world renowned singer. Susan is now one of the most recognizable names in reality competitive TV history. But it doesn’t mean a lot of people would watch the documentary.
Adam Lambert’s performance on ABC’s Good Morning America got cancelled last week. There was no official reason that was given for the axe of his planned performance. We all know what it really meant though. The network was upset with the gay singer’s American Music Awards performance and was afraid of what he would do on live morning television. I doubt any of this would be happening if it was Lady Gaga who gave the same type of performance by making out with one of her female musicians or shoved one of her female dancers in her crotch. If Britney Spears and Madonna got away with it, why can’t Adam?
Apparently the singer has probably been spending too much time with Lady GaGa or her music. After being physically abused, Rihanna has grown into a stronger independent woman… a woman that believes it is a must to send naked pictures of herself to her boyfriend. This is what Rihanna said on the matter: “If you don’t send your boyfriend naked pictures, then I feel bad for him. When it happened I sent my mom flowers first before I called and then she texted me – when the world is against me she’s always there supporting.” Ok, what does her mom have to do with all of this? Rihanna is really going off the rail isn’t she? Still, if she has as many female admirers as she seems to have gathered after her assault, a lot of guys will become very, very happy over the next few days.
The recently highly successful singer and fashion designer admitted that she owes all of her original dressing ideas to the fact the she was bullied at school and she was never able to fit in. These are Lady GaGa’s words on the matter: I want to create a space for my fans where they can feel free, and they can celebrate. I didn’t fit in at high school, I wanted to be like Boy George and I felt like a freak. So I like to create this atmosphere for my fans where they feel like they have a freak in me to hang out with, and they don’t feel alone.” Well now, isn’t that supportive of Lady GaGa? Organizing a neat little freak club, is she? Since when did pop stars have that kind of a fan base?
Tokio Hotel took home the award for Best Group earlier this month at MTV’s European Music Awards where they also gave an electrifying performance of “World Behind My Wall.” This guitar-charged ballad is their new, official focus track in the US and follows “Automatic” as the second single off of Humanoid. The band rocked through amazing acoustic renditions of their new hit single “Check My Brain”, “Black Gives Way To Blue”, and “Your Decision”. The band also sat down with Yahoo for an exclusive video interview, where the band talks about life after Layne, and their amazing re-birth with new singer William DuVall.
Jessica Biel said it’s ‘weird’ to have her relationship with Justin Timberlake constantly scrutinised.
The 27-year-old is rarely out of the media glare and she said it’s strange to have the union constantly in the media spotlight.
She said: “It’s definitely been weird and sort of bizarre to deal with. But you have to have a sense of humour about the whole thing. Honestly, I look at a magazine and they know more than I do.
“You do really have to just get into a place where you feel Zen about it – take a deep breath and know that somebody is going to be taking your picture while you’re going to the laundry and picking up your dry-cleaning.”
Biel stars in new animated movie Planet 51 as an alien and she said it’s good to be involved in a more light-hearted genre of films.
She said: “Doing any kind of family entertainment comes as a huge relief from making something like The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, which was probably one of the hardest experiences for me, emotionally and creatively.
“It was intense because I was at this high level of freak-out, for about a month. It was just so not this world. That kind of emotional strain was so different.
“Planet 51 was just fun. I wanted to do it because it was speaking to my inner child. Yes, I want to be an alien. Yes, I want to be green!”
Pussycat Dolls founder Robin Antin has denied the latest report that the band have split.
Reports claim the girls have finally called it a day as they are no longer speaking with lead singer Nicole Scherzinger, 31. However their founder Antin has now dismissed the latest rumours.
She said to Hollyscoop: “The Pussycat Dolls are very much ALIVE and there is NO truth to the silent treatment statements.
“Nicole and the Dolls have ALWAYS been close. Nicole is and always has been a strong creative force within this group and I cherish the way we collaborate.”
The statement added: “The Pussycat Dolls have proven their success over many years and will continue to do so.
“The PCD brand has evolved and has continually grown since day one so look out for new music, new concepts, new faces and more hit songs!”
Although many people loved Adam Lambert’s performance on Sunday night at the American Music Awards, there are also many conservatives that have their panties in a bunch. The American Idol alum performed his latest single ‘For Your Entertainment’, which included simulating oral sex with a male dancer, making out with one of the male band members and plenty of crotch grabbing. According to ABC, over 1500 people have called to complain about the singer’s performance. Though the network has classified the response as moderate, there are still those who have taken to online forums to bash Adam’s performance. I guess it was just too much all in one time.
There’s a new music video out for the song ‘Fresh Out the Oven’ by Lola, more famously known as Jennifer Lopez. The singer also happens t call the song as “just a warm up track”. The song, featuring rapper Pitbull, which was first released in teaser clips online last month, will not be on the Latina’s upcoming album but it’s an idea of what we can expect from her new music. She also said that Lola isn’t a Sasha Fierce type of alter ego like Beyonce’s. it’s being said that the name is actually hubby Marc Anthony’s nickname for her.

Not only did the country singer perform her hit song ‘Love Story’ during the BBC televised Children in Need fundraiser on Friday night, but the blonde cutie also donated £13,000 of her own money to the UK charity. If you know how to do the math, that’s nearly $22,000! That was mighty generous of Taylor. I love it when I hear about celebrities doing some good. They’ve got all the money lying around anyway. The least they could do is put it to good use and not just splurge on some senseless thing.
During Adam Lambert’s interview with Out magazine, the American Idol alum spoke about his fellow singer, Lady Gaga. He said “I’m so refreshed by her. I think she’s finally taking risks. Like where are those people? You know what I mean? I’m inspired by it. I’m like, ‘Yeah, fuck yeah. Let’s take risks. I think she’s smart. I predict that she will experiment and change it up a little bit. She’s got to show a little crack in the veneer for the audience to really get a three-dimensional view of who she is. I love that she’s brave enough to be that eccentric. I think it takes balls to be that out there.”
Pearl Jam kicked off their Australian tour in the shadow of Britney Spears, making a reference to lip-synching before a crowd of 30,000.
The band’s frontman, Eddie Vedder, reportedly told the audience at Perth’s Members Equity Stadium that he would be lip-synching and that, according to some new rules under consideration, he would do the right thing and confess to the fact in advance.
He also joked that he would use the miming opportunity as an excuse to knock back some wine and enjoy a cigarette. Then he let rip without a sound before turning the microphone towards the crowd to allow them to take over singing Pearl Jam classics such as Daughter, Alive and Better Man.
A local review of the concert in the western coastal city where Spears began her Circus tour, reported: “Pearl Jam kicked off their Australian tour with a slick performance in Perth, which gave the crowd a taste of the band’s newest offerings whilst rocking out all the old favourites.
“The week after Britney Spears started her Australian tour at the Burswood Dome with a concert big on lip-synching and short on audience interaction, Eddie Vedder demonstrated just how a real, charismatic and talented musician conducts a gig.”
Leona Lewis has recently recorded the theme song for the eagerly anticipated science fiction film ‘Avatar’. The 24-year old singer’s contribution to the movie, ‘I See You’, will reportedly be played during the closing credits of the movie. Leona worked with producers James Horner and Simon Franglen, who both produced the ‘Titanic’ hit track ‘My Heart Will Go On’. ‘Avatar’ is slated to hit theaters on December 16. If Leona’s singing on the soundtrack, I’m pretty sure they have good music on there. Maybe I’ll go see it just for that. If I like it, then good. If I don’t, at least I got to listen to Leona.
Another subject of controversy is Adam Lambert, more specifically his performance at the American Music Awards. It seems Adam Lambert simulated oral sex with one of his male dancers and also made out with one of the band members on stage… among a few other things. This did turn a few heads, but Adam Lambert stood adamant in front of all the complaints saying: “You know honestly, if I offended some people… it’s apples and oranges. I’m not an artist that does things for every single person. I believe in artistic freedom and expression, I believe in honoring the lyrics of a song, and those lyrics aren’t really for everybody either.” Adam Lambert really does make a valid point here… or at least, that’s what he’s hopefully doing and not trying to subtly say that libido is the essence of life, because then he’s no different than the other stage performers that might end up turning heads.
Pete Wentz is finally admitting that his band Fall Out Boy was ruined due to Ashlee Simpson – sort of. The rock star blames part of the problem on his much publicized marriage to Ashlee as a hindrance for the band. Mostly, he just blames himself and the fame. According to Pete, he thinks his relationship with Ashlee has placed him in the gossip columns too much and has had a negative impact on the band. He said “My biggest personal reason for taking a break is that I feel my name has become a hindrance for the band.” He adds that front man Patrick Stump “is a musical genius and it’s unfortunate that he gets reviewed based on whatever’s going on in my personal life or how my hair looks. I think the world needs a little less Pete Wentz.”
Even though it’s already been some time since the Saturday Night Live show Taylor Swift hosted where she made fun of a few people, including her former boyfriend Joe Jonas, the Jonas Brothers star didn’t take it lightly. Sure enough, at a recent concert of theirs, Joe Jonas added a very subtle “wah wah wah” after the lyric “the tears on her guitar”. Ok, one can understand subtle, but that’s a bit too much. Taylor Swift most likely won’t pick up on that. Joe Jonas should try harder, after all, what is there to lose? All is fair in war and celebrity publicity fights.
Jordin Sparks has told how she is recovering in hospital after having her appendix out.
The American Idol star took to her Twitter page to reveal she was struck with acute appendicitis and had it removed.
She later posted a photo of herself on a hospital bed clutching her stuffed animal toys and wrote: “Smiling, resting & takin it easy!”
About two hours before, she tweeted: “Feeling a little better but very sore. Thank you so much for your thoughts & prayers. It means so much & it’s so powerful. ”
The 19-year-old won the sixth season of American Idol in 2007.
Among her well-wishers was fellow Idol star, David Archuleta, who wrote: “Oh man sorry to hear about that!
“I had appendicitis and had to get my appendix out a few years ago. Hope you feel better!”
