Lily Allen Takes a Break

Lily Allen has recently announced that she will be taking “one or two years off from recording and performing music” starting on March 2010. The singer’s last scheduled gig is a Dizzee Rascal concert at the O2 Arena in London. Lily plans to start her own record label and set up a fashion store. She says that she’s also not participating in something known as the internet, saying “I’ve stopped everything, I haven’t got a computer and I haven’t got a blackberry. I don’t do emails or anything now. I’ve decided to stop being so hypocritical and consume things and pay for them. I buy music in vinyl and buy newspapers. I support the industry I’m in. I’m a neo-luddite, that’s how I describe myself.” I’m going to miss her craziness.
