Mariah Carey’s new album ‘Angels Advocate’ has been pushed back from its original release date of February 23rd to March 9th. Does no one have faith in the diva and her music anymore? What’s the hold up anyway? Actually, scratch that. I didn’t even know that she was making a new album much less that it was about to get released. And frankly, I don’t really care. Honestly, I think she should just give up now while she still has even the tiniest bit of dignity left in her. But then again, even that is beginning to look questionable. The only good thing to happen to her this past year is being in the movie ‘Precious’.
Hollywood actress Jessica Biel says her relationship with pop star Justin Timberlake is “precious”.
When asked how she feels about Justin, the 27-year-old told Vogue magazine: “I don’t want to talk about it.”
She said of the relationship: “I don’t feel the need to clear anything up. It’s the most precious thing that I have in my life, and I care about it so much that I don’t care about what anyone says or thinks. I have just not addressed it in any real way, and I’m not going to. It’s mine. And I really like that about it.”
The pair have experienced ups and downs in their relationship and were even reported to have broken up not too long ago.
The former model, who began dating Timberlake, 28, in 2007, also thinks being in the spotlight is strange.
She added: “It’s definitely been weird and sort of bizarre to deal with.
“But you have to have a sense of humour about the whole thing. Honestly, I look at a magazine and they know more than I do.”
There’s absolutely no stopping Rihanna. The Barbadian beauty has just earned her thirteenth Top 10 Single of her career with her song ‘Hard’ which recently made the Billboard Hot 100 Top 10 list. I know it’s kind of hard to take in considering Rihanna’s latest music doesn’t seem up to par with her past hits. But you have to admit that being who she is helps. This now ties the R&B singer with Beyonce for having the most Hot 100 Top 10s among female artists since 2000. Congratulations Rihanna! I hope she gets more hits and that she improves from her releases this year.
Lady Gaga is taking the fight for equality to New Jersey this weekend as the princess of pop will be hosting a gala supporting making same sex marriage legal in America. The singer will present the Hands Up for Marriage Equality benefit in Atlantic City this Saturday and the funds that will be raised from the event will benefit four amazing organizations – Empire State Pride Agenda, Equality Pennsylvania, Garden State Equality and The Power. Lady Gaga released a statement about the event saying “I am honored to be able to continue to raise awareness and money for this cause and these outstanding organizations. Organizations like these are in the trenches every day working on behalf of all of us whether you are LGBT or straight. Equal and full civil rights are supposed to be for all of us.”
