The charges however are like nothing you’ve ever seen before. Well, it’s a sex tape offence, but the whole story is as follows: a woman by the name of Lastonia Leviston filmed herself having sex and then gave the tape to 50 Cent who, out of some sort of feud he has with an individual by the name of Rick Ross, edited himself into the tape and now Lastonia Leviston is suing him for emotional distress and unauthorized use of her image. If 50 Cent wanted to help her out with some money, why not write a check and spare themselves all of this trouble? After all, it’s not like the lawsuit is going to be over too quickly.
As it was reported earlier, diva Whitney Houston had a less than stellar concert in Australia on Monday. Most of the audience actually left halfway through the concert, disappointed by the lackluster and boring show that the singer was giving the crowd. Not everyone felt that way though as Whitney’s promoter Andrew McManus is standing by the diva and says that he is honored to be associated with such an amazing talent. He said “As for some of the negative ‘vocal minority’ … all I can say is, what happened to the Australian positive support of someone who has seen difficult times, and is now up on stage, warts and all, presenting herself like an open book for the world to see. And they want to ridicule Whitney?” I don’t warts should be a reason to cite for having such a crappy performance.
Since Justin Timberlake is probably laying low for a while and Matt Kemp is not such a sure bet, it looks like there’s nothing left for Rihanna to do but work. And she has good reason to do so as her last album, “Rated R”, didn’t do so well. So it’s off to the recording studio with Rihanna once more to work on an album that will apparently get released somewhere this Summer. Rihanna assures her fans that this time the music will be less heavy and more fun and cheerful. It looks like Rihanna got tired of playing artist pretty quickly and is going back to making music for the industry. Well, she has to make a living out of something!
50 Cent is writing another screenplay entitled ‘Things Fall Apart’ making it his second writing credit after writing the script for 2009’s ‘Before I Self Destruct’. The rapper/actor’s new screenplay is about a college football player and in addiction to co-writing the script, 50 Cent is expected to take on a starring role. The movie will begin filming this May in Michigan once he wraps up his tour. I guess we can’t call him a one trick pony. You can’t deny that the guy’s versatile. He’s doing a pretty good job. Let’s just hope it doesn’t make his ego bigger.
The actors/singers of ‘Glee’ have been requested to be a part of the White House Easter Egg Roll on April 5 to perform for the First Lady Michelle Obama and her two young daughters who are all avid fans of the show. Of course the cast would be there – like they would ever turn down an invitation from the President! There’s no word on what they will be performing yet though. Maybe they’d be doing Madonna. Whatever it is that they decide to sing, I’m sure they’ll be able to make it work. And congratulations for receiving such a great honor!
Although Kimberley Walsh suggested that the reason that the next Girls Aloud album is being held up is purely because of band mate Nadine Coyle. However, Nadine thinks that the accusation is nothing but a bunch of crap. The singer recently went on her Twitter to say “Laughing at people suggesting i’m holding up GA. Really?? Let’s be realistic. Open your eyes. It’s made out like I have all the power woaw.” I don’t really care whose fault it is, I just want some new music from them. I think they’re the last girl band out there and they need to represent!

Not only is the rapper’s ‘Blueprint’ album reportedly a staple in the Presidential gym but Jay-Z has also been invited to the White House a couple of times. It’s just too bad that he hasn’t gone once. The rapper revealed “I’ve been invited to the White House a couple of times. Hopefully, we’ll keep him for eight years so I’ll have time to get there.” If the President can find time to fit you into his schedule, I’m sure you can too.
Nas has pleaded not guilty to contempt of court in the divorce battle between him and Kelis. The singer and her lawyers have claimed that the rapper owes over $200,000 in child and spousal support including attorney’s fees. The lawyers filed a contempt motion after Nas didn’t pay up and he pleaded not guilty. If he gets convicted, Nas could go to jail. The contempt hearing has been set for next month. He must be pretty sure of himself and in his plea if he’s risking jail time. Their divorce is definitely getting ugly. Why couldn’t everyone just be friends?
Hilary Duff has announced that she is engaged to hockey player Mike Comrie, who the singer/actress has been dating for more than two years. The jock popped the question in Maui last week but there has been no date set for the wedding just yet. Congratulations you two! What is up with hockey players these days and getting engaged? Carrie Underwood recently got a proposal from her hockey player beau Mike Fisher. I wonder if either of the females would want to have a double wedding. That should make the planning easier – unless of course they have very opposing opinions.
It looks like maternal instincts hit again and Lady GaGa has to bear the pressure of wanting to have a normal life with a normal family… tough times, tough times. This is what Lady GaGa said on the matter: “I want to have a husband who loves and supports me, just the way anyone else does. I am a very sentimental person and family is important to me.” Maybe she should give exchanging places with somebody for a bit a shot… after all, there are probably many, many happily married women with good husbands and normal families that would like to exchange places with Lady GaGa. Jennifer Hudson is the latest celebrity to sport a milk mustache as part of the ‘got milk?’ campaign. The 28-year old R&B singer and Oscar winning actress and new mother to David Otunga Jr. took the time to remind other moms that milk offers substantial nutritional value for both mama and baby. Jennifer said “As a new mom, I’m trying to make the best choices for my family and me, which includes making sure milk is on our table every day.” She’s got a point. Heck, I’m neither mom nor baby but I still drink milk to help with my health.

The party-loving trashy pop star has ruined the chances of the revamped all-star ‘We are the World’ from debuting at the top of the charts. For the ninth week in a row, the singer holds the top honor on the Billboard Hot 100 with the Haiti relief single debuting at number two. It’s not totally a bad thing because that still means it has made a lot of money for Haiti. But if that can’t knock Ke$ha off of her pedestal, I’m excited to see what will.

He’s cool like that.” It really isn’t worth sacrificing such an amazing element of fauna such as Simon Cowell just for the sake of a bit of pollution… Leona Lewis should really take time to check her priorities.

The curvy star came top of the new poll by landing 24 per cent of the vote, but men believe that Transformers star Megan Fox has the best body and said she is the woman they would sleep with if allowed to by their partner.
The poll was carried out by Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment.
It also found that British model Katie Price is becoming less popular as a third of men and women voted her the least attractive celebrity.
Both sexes also voted that Victoria Beckham has the worst figure out of other celebrities.
The poll was carried out to mark the release of Fox’s new movie, Jennifer’s Body, on DVD.
Pop singer Cheryl Cole is getting ready to divorce her douche bag of a husband, Ashley, after a string of women came forward claiming that the football player had affairs with them. According to a source, the Girls Aloud member is coming to terms with the idea of ending her three and a half year marriage saying “Cheryl is exhausted with it all. There was a point when she was going to ride it all out, but she has heard rumours of more women and cannot face it. They will split within weeks.” Mind you, the couple doesn’t have a prenup. A legal source said “This is an unusual situation for a footballer as very few have wives with their own earnings. However the discrepancy between their net worths means that Mrs Cole would have a very strong case for a significant claim over a large portion of his wealth, now and in the future.”
The Abbey Road recording in London is up for grabs and Sir Paul McCartney is hoping that it can still be saved from being sold off. The studio has become almost synonymous with The Beatles, with a record named in its honor and the famous cover shot crossing the street outside of it. It has also been home to other great artists like U2 and Michael Jackson. EMI, the label that is selling the building, is hoping to make $20 million off of the building and Paul is hoping that others will take action. The singer told the BBC “There are a few people who have been associated with the studio for a long time who were talking about mounting some bid to save it. I sympathize with them. I hope they can do something, it’d be great.” I wonder why he won’t place a bid on it yet.
Lady Gaga’s naked body could drape the famous steps of the Sydney Opera House – if a fellow performance artist has his way.
Spencer Tunick has reportedly invited Gaga to join thousands of naked Aussie men and women on the steps of the Opera House for a staged art event next month.
The artist is famous for taking shots of naked people in public spaces and Gaga reportedly revealed this week that she is a fan and even wrote an 80-page thesis on him when she was younger.
Tunick said: “I would like to send an open invitation to Lady Gaga to fly to Australia and participate in my next installation in Sydney, at the Opera House on 1 March.
“I was thinking she could slip in there anonymously and no one would know she was there. I’d be glad to not tell a soul.”
He added: “Or maybe she would want to pose, maybe she would want people to know she was there, but just couldn’t be found in the crowd. You know, then it could be, like ‘Where’s Lady Gaga?”’
When your career goes to the crapper, there’s always reality TV that would break your fall. R&B singer and sometime actress Ashanti is the latest to pretty much nail her coffin shut on any chance of getting her music career back on track by signing a deal to produce and star in her own reality TV show. Her mother and manager Tina Douglas says “It’s an unscripted television show that is definitely music related. We’ll be revealing more in the coming weeks. She has her own record label, called Written Entertainment, and the show is going to revolve around her label… It’s going to be really big.” Right.
Christina Aguilera is busy on the set of her new movie Burlesque. Photographers even caught the singer turned actress mid yawn. I guess she’s been working hard. The 29-year old recently sat down with ET to speak about the new film. Christina said “I love the idea of burlesque and I have always been intrigued by it and inspired by it. How much better can it get than a whole movie about that world?” And I bet that having Cher as one of her cast mates isn’t a bad thing either. Christina must be having a hell of a time doing this.
According to Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office in Louisiana, a pickup truck crashed into one of Trace Adkins’ tour buses earlier this week, killing two people in the pickup truck. The country singer was not on board the bus at the time. None of his band members were thought to have suffered serious injuries but Caddo Sheriff Steve Prator said that he believed both men in the pickup were killed on impact. The truck crossed the center line and crashed into the bus. Sgt. Michael Gray says that they believe that the pickup was coming from a casino. A case of drunk driving perhaps?
