Carrie Underwood shows off her sexy side as the country singer is featured on the cover of the March 2010 issue of Cosmopolitan magazine. The 26-year old American Idol alum talked about her fiancé Mike Fisher, his influence on her album ‘Play On’, meeting him for the first time, and balancing work and life. Carrie said that her hockey player beau gave her a lot of inspiration saying “He provided a lot of inspiration for songs, whether it was something he said or just by being supportive.” On having that balance between work and her life, she said “I didn’t want to be one of those people who has an amazing career but ends up alone and unhappy. I want to be happy. I want it all.”

Jason Mraz has spoken up about his support of gay marriage. The singer said at the Grammys red carpet “I’m in the fight for marriage equality. That’s why I’m wearing this pin tonight. I’ve just been doing a couple of different activities and events speaking out as a straight man about civil rights.” Now, Jason is also calling out other famous straight musicians like John Mayer and Kanye West for not doing the same. He said “The more straight people, the better, so big names that cause a stir in the media, like Kanye West and John Mayer. [Mayer's] recently been very transparent in what he’s been saying or tweeting and I would love to see some more empowering transparency rather than material or self-loathing. Same as with Kanye — I feel like he’s such a huge presence that if he really promotes it and says, ‘Listen, you need to do this,’ more people would rally for the cause. The more straight heavy-hitters [that] speak up could really benefit the cause.”
It seems the rapper will finally be going on a holiday of sorts Tuesday, but it won’t be in some far-off, exotic location. No, Lil Wayne has been called to jail as scheduled for his illegal possession of firepower deal. But he seems pretty optimistic about the whole thing. This is what Lil’ Wayne said on the matter: “I don’t like to stop. I believe you stop when you die. This is Lil Wayne going to jail. Nobody I can talk to can tell me what that’s like. I just say I’m looking forward to it.” Of course he also believes that this is all part of some grand master design by God and he needs not worry about the whole thing. Great optimism for Lil Wayne, he’ll definitely wow them down at the pad. Oh the fun times that are to follow!
