Former Spice Girls star Mel B is reportedly the frontrunner in the bid to take over from Dannii Minogue on The X Factor.
The 34-year-old is allegedly being lined up by X Factor boss Simon Cowell to take over from Minogue, 38, who is expecting her baby in the middle of the series later this year.
A source told UK Star magazine: “Mel B is at the front of the list of possible contenders. She thinks it would be the job of her dreams and is in line to be offered it.”
However, Minogue recently said that she still hopes to be part of the hit talent TV show when it returns later this year.
Jennifer Lopez may have parted ways with Sony Music Epic Records but the singer has already found a new label to work with. In a statement released to one of her fan sites, JLo said “I know my fans have been wondering what’s been going on with my album. I have been in the process of a transition and now I am happy that all the issues have been resolved and I have found a new home. I have fulfilled my contractual obligations to Sony/Epic and felt it was time to move on. It was an amicable split not as the media will paint it out to be. I have been with Sony for many years and we achieved great success together. During this period I never stopped the creative process and my album ‘Love?’ will still be released in the summer of 2010 as planned.”
Ke$ha recently had an interview with Billboard magazine where she talked about being a party girl. The trashy pop singer said “Am I a party girl? I’m having a party in this weird office, hanging out with you, totally sober. If you mean ‘party girl’ like, at a club with a short skirt on with no underwear, then no. I’ve gotten drunk before but never gotten a DUI. I don’t go to clubs. I try not to let my vagina hang out. I don’t do drugs, but I think I’m a walking good time and I talk kind of funny, so people think I’m messed up all the time. I’m not.” It sounds like a big shout out to Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan.
