With their smash collaboration ‘Telephone’, Lady Gaga and Beyonce are now tied together for most number ones on the Billboard Music’s Pop songs chart. The girls tie with only Mariah Carey for six number 1 tracks and beat out Avril Lavigne, Pink, Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake who all have five. Special kudos has to go to the princess of pop though as the singer only appeared on the music scene two years ago and has reached the top of the chart with every single she’s ever put out. Completely amazing! Congratulations go out to both ladies! I wish for more duets in your future.
Britney Spears has split with her boyfriend-manager Jason Trawick, according to an E! Online exclusive.
Spears recently was seen in the doldrums out and around Los Angeles without Trawick – or much in the way of grooming and make-up.
E! News reports a source said Spears, 28, called it quits with Trawick at the end of last month. The pair was last seen together on Valentine’s Day.
“They were fighting a lot and have not been getting along,” according to the source.
Trawick was said to be favoured by Spears’s father Jamie, who has conservatorship of her affairs. When the pair were Down Under however, for a final disastrous leg of Spears’s world tour, they apparently were drifting apart. Reports claimed Trawick turned down the pop princess’s offer of marriage.
William Morris Endeavor Entertainment confirmed Tuesday that Trawick, 38, is still representing Spears.
E! adds that despite the report, the possibility for a reconciliation does exist, according to the same source.

Madonna has a new line of sunglasses with Dolce & Gabbana called MDG. Some new artwork recently leaked on to the internet that was rumored to be for the ad campaign for the line. The photos were captured by celebrity photographer, and a friend of the Queen of Pop, Steven Klein. It looks like the screen shots were from a video though so we might find something else if we snoop around. The MDG ads will reportedly run through February 2011. Madonna also recently sealed a deal with Iconix Brand Group. She said “Joining forces with Iconix to bring my fashion ideas to consumers is very exciting for me.” It looks like the singer is exploring new possibilities.
