Rihanna’s latest single ‘Rude Boy’ has just hit the top spot on Billboard’s Hot 100, which means that the Barbadian babe is the first female singer to have six number one singles in the United States since 2000! Congratulations! I’m pretty sure even more people will be rejoicing with her if her music was better too. It’s not that she doesn’t deserve it, it’s just that I know she can do so much better. I hope the new material that she has in store for us will be better. For the sake of her career, let’s all hope it is.
Jessica Simpson’s reality show ‘The Price of Beauty’ premiered to some pretty low numbers this past Monday. While the failed country singer did her part to promote the show by doing a boat load of interviews, it seems that the fans just weren’t into it. The show premiered to a low of just 1 million viewers. ‘The Price of Beauty’ was beat out by other cable shows like ‘Intervention’, ‘Hoarders’ and ‘Operation Repo’. Was the concept of the show too boring or is everyone just tired of Jessica just like I am? Hey, at least she managed to bring in higher ratings than ‘Celebrity Fit Club’.
