The Fighter star Mark Wahlberg has hinted there will be a sequel to the hit Oscar-nominated movie. As he arrived at the 83rd Academy Awards in Los Angeles, the actor spoke to Extra about plans for a sequel to the hit movie. He said: “Now we’re gonna talk about doing No.2. We’re gonna do the Ward/Gatti trilogy and make it real.” Wahlberg was referring to the real-life fighter Mickey Ward and his three fights with opponent Arturo Gatti. Speaking to Extra’s Mario Lopez he added; “And you know what? You may want to play Gatti.” The movie was nominated for Best Picture but lost out to The King’s Speech and Wahlberg spoke about the film being nominated before the ceremony started. He said: “It’s crazy. We’re just thrilled to be here. I told my wife, as a guy, you don’t just want to go to the finals, you want to win.”

The Golden Globes are trying to expand their audiences demographic and what better way to do that than to add Justin Bieber to the lineup of presenters? It looks like the pop singer will be presenting alongside “True Grit” actress Hailee Steinfeld. Also representing young Hollywood at the awards ceremony is Zac Efron, who will also serve as a presenter. If you want to see how they do at the show, tune in this Sunday and see how they fare as presenters at the prestigious awards ceremony. I’m hoping for a Bieber face plant. That should get ratings up for sure.

Beyonce joined 2009 Oscars host Hugh Jackman on stage for a musical number. There’s a bit of controversy surrounding that performance now. Some people say that Beyonce was lip synching during her performance, singing to a track, using auto-tune or relying on her background singers way too much. Beyonce was definitely off of her game that night which is bad considering the rest of the performers on the number did so well – and they were not professional singers. I guess her dress wasn’t the only thing wrong for Beyonce that night. She needs to step up her game! I’m not used to this.

Here’s another chapter in the war saga of Elton John and Madonna. Sir Elton was reportedly livid that Madonna decided to throw a last minute Oscar party. With Vanity Fair canceling their annual soiree, usually the most attended, Elton’s party was poised to be the party of the Academy Awards this year. However, Madonna decided to throw a party which was attended by A-list stars like Tom Cruise & Katie Holmes, Cameron Diaz, Demi & Ashton, Drew Barrymore, Owen Wilson and Penelope Cruz. Sir Elton’s attendees were B and C-list like JC Chasez, Lionel Richie, Simon Cowell, Larry King and Sean Penn.
