Robert Pattinson: I don’t need to flash my six-pack

Twilight heartthrob Robert Pattinson says he doesn’t need to flash his six-pack to get attention.

“I don’t walk around with my shirt off all the time!” he joked, poking fun at co-star Taylor Lautner. “It’s like driving a fancy car – you’re insecure about something.”

Pattinson, who plays vampire hunk Edward, said of New Moon: “It’s my favourite book. I really connected to [it] really quickly. It think it’s an improvement [on Twilight]. It was nice not being the lead.”

Pattinson also revealed how one of the many rumours that fly around about him scared his mother back in England.

“I had a heroin overdose in New York, that was an exciting one for my mother,” he said of the false report. “I’d been working so much, I didn’t answer the phone. I’m so ignorant. I don’t think it had set in that anyone read [the tabloids].”

Fergie’s Marriage on Thin Ice

Actor Josh Duhamel has denied the allegations that he cheated on his wife Fergie with a stripper but sources are saying that the singer isn’t buying it and that Josh is definitely in the doghouse. Despite his supposed infidelity, the Black Eyed Peas member is going to keep her marriage intact for now. An insider close to her said “[Fergie's] been around musicians too long. She understands show business marriages are not like other people’s.” Fergie is said to be “hanging in there…She was fully aware of Josh’s reputation as a ladies’ man when she hooked up with him.” It sounds like they have a lot of trust issues to work on.

Shia LaBeouf Loved Cheetah Girls

If you remember, Shia LaBeouf did a little Disney Channel work in his younger years. During that time, he had himself a little secret romance. The young actor had himself his own Cheetah Girl! Kiely Williams, one of the original members of the Cheetah Girls, let it out recently that back in 2003, she and Shia were an item. She says that the reason he doesn’t mention it was probably because he got dumped. The singer also told Life & Style that they were still friends. Kiely also said that she will now only date people who are now famous, saying “It’s hard to see how two artists who are building their careers can really date. They’re going to be constantly hogging the spotlight.” I don’t know why, but I think that was a dig at Shia.

Jude Law ‘hits’ female photographer

Jude Law allegedly hit a female photographer as he left a London restaurant after a night out.

The 36-year-old actor was seen leaving The Automat bar and restaurant in London at 12:30am on July 23 when the woman claims he hit her as she took pictures of him.

Hollywood actor Leonardo DiCaprio was also said to be in the restaurant at the time of the incident.

The female photographer said: “He hit me full on the face, it was a real stinger, it was very sore.”

Colin Farrell to star as a country singer

Irish heart-throb Colin Farrell plays a country singer in a new film co-starring Maggie Gyllenhaal and Jeff Bridges.

The 33-year-old is in Crazy Heart, in which he plays a young protégé taken under the wing of Bridges, an ageing musician.

Gyllenhaal is a reporter who falls for the older star, whom she in turn inspires.

Crazy Heart, which is based on a Thomas Cobb novel, also features Robert Duvall.

Mel Gibson stole the spotlight from everybody else when he attended the Hollywood premiere of ‘X-Men Origins: Wolverine’ at Grauman’s Chinese Theater on Tuesday night. Just shortly after announcing his split from his wife of 29 years, the actor took his Russian girlfriend, Oksana Grigorieva to the screening. The 53-year old actor walked the red carpet with his 39-year old singer girlfriend, who’s said to be on his Icon Records label. She’s the same girl who’s been rumored to be part of the affair which tore apart Mel’s marriage. However, Mel’s rep says that the actor has been “single” for three years and that he’s just enjoying himself now.

If he’s so disciplined as he claims to be, what’s he going to do with a fast car anyway? He has to abide by traffic regulations. Hong Kong singer/actor Edison Chen made his first public appearance since his sex scandal broke only to announce that heâ€™s stepping away from the entertainment industry to heal himself as well as apologizing saying â€œI would like now to apologize to all the people for all the suffering that has been caused and the problems that have arisen from this. I would like to apologize to all the ladies and to all their families for any harm or hurt that they have been feeling.â€ 1,300 explicit photos of Edison with a string of Hong Kong starlets and pop stars flooded the internet over the past couple of weeks. The pictures were allegedly copied by the staff of a computer repair shop from a faulty laptop belonging to Edison. Ten arrests in relation to the scandal have already been made by the Hong Kong police.

Ashanti R&B singer Ashanti attended to the 2007 MTV Video Music Awards

R&B singer Ashanti attended to the 2007 MTV Video Music Awards on September 9th and to an After-Party at TAO club in Las Vegas hosted by Jermaine Dupri with boyfriend rapper Nelly.

Ashanti will visit the US show “Live With Regis & Kelly” on Monday, September 17th to promote her upcoming movie “Resident Evil: Extinction” which hits theaters on September 21st.

Ashanti’s fourth studio album entitled “The Declaration” is set for release now on December 4th. This is the official follow up to “Concrete Rose” released in 2004.
