This year’s Grammys were no different as the best of the music world gathered to bestow laurels upon the best achievers of 2008.

It all started with the red carpet being laid out and the attendees included virtually the who’s who of most famous Hollywood musicians and actors. There were stand out stage performances from the likes of Carrie Underwood, Justin Timberlake, Kid Rock, the Jonas Brothers, Kanye West but the show kicked off with a memorable performance from U2.
