Amy Winehouse is one year clean everybody! At least, she’s clean from the drugs. The singer’s father, Mitch Winehouse, says that his daughter has been free of the bad stuff for a year now after going through multiple stints in rehab. He said “We were very fortunate. We were able to afford the best doctors, clinical psychologists, rehabilitation and hospitals.” I think now it’s time for them to get her on the journey to get clean from the alcohol. Wino is still living up to her rep as a hard partying mess. But kudos to her for staying away from the worse stuff.
UK rocker Amy Winehouse, 25, has sued her former mother-in-law for selling a love letter she penned for ex-husband Blake Fielder-Civil.
Bad boy Fielder-Civil was spending time in prison for assault when the steamy note was written. Winehouse alleges his mother, Georgette, sold the letter.
Winehouse in her legal action alleges copyright infringement and seeks £50,000 in damages.
A friend said: “Amy was furious the private letter was used to make money.”
Amy married Blake, 27, in 2007 and divorced in July this year. She was in recent days quoted saying that although they had split, he was “still her man”.
Fielder-Civil’s mother in the past blamed Winehouse for her son’s turning to drugs. The ill-fated pair spent most of their marriage apart due to his imprisonment.
That is the way the singer is described by one of her friends, Aisleyne Horgan Wallace, as behaving in their friend circles. Aisleyne Horgan Wallace said the following about how Amy Winehouse is among friends: “She is the mummy in our friendship group. She’s really like a mother hen and likes to look after everyone. I know that’s not how she comes across in the press, but everyone who knows her, or has ever met her, says the same about how wonderful she is. The theme song for the new James Bond movie is up for grabs once again and the studio’s two choices for its performer are Amy Winehouse and Duffy. The two females are said to be considered once again after being rumored to be providing the theme to ‘Quantum of Solace’. Only Wino had a real chance back then but producer Mark Ronson claimed that the train wreck of a singer wasn’t ready to head into the studio. It still doesn’t look like she’s ready to get back to serious work this time either so my money is all on Duffy.
The singer staged what could loosely be called a protest against the fact that topless sunbathing was banned at a Caribbean hotel she’s staying at. Apparently Amy Whinehouse ran around half-naked the hotel, as a source relates: “Everyone was shocked when she began running around half naked. She was talking to herself and flailing her arms around but we couldn’t understand what she was saying.” Looks like Amy Winehouse doesn’t screw around when it comes to acting like a spoiled brat… erm, I mean, enforcing her rights. Viva la revolution! Still, given the level of interest she has shown for that resort on St. Lucia, Amy Winehouse will probably be buying the whole island before long.
The singer recently stated that she is so busy working on her new album she hardly has any time to have fun anymore. Amy Winehouse said: “I’m busy in the studio at the minute, too busy to go out and have much fun really. I can’t even play pool in my favorite pool hall. It’s probably for the best, I only end up getting arrested for assault when I go out these days!” Right… for the sake of argument, let’s forget that Amy Winehouse spent a freaking month if not two on a Caribbean island and let’s imagine her idea of fun from what she says: go out, get drunk, get into a fight… and win. Yeah, Amy Winehouse is right: it is best for her, but especially for the rest of the world if she doesn’t have any more “fun”.
The singer is reportedly about to spend three million dollars to make herself a studio at home so that she can record her new material in peace. A source said this about Amy Winehouse’s new creational facility: “She doesn’t want to have to go to a public studio to record her new album, where she’ll get photographed all the time, so she’s looking into getting a set-up at home. She recorded loads of tracks while in Camden. She wanted a similar set-up.” Three million dollars? What is Amy Winehouse going to put in that studio, a fully paid orchestra? Or better still: a full robot orchestra? I never knew Amy Winehouse was such an accomplished musician that she required that much equipment.
I didn’t want to be so cruel but that’s a truth which most would agree with me. The world is better off without her and having her amongst humans would undermine the good things we preach to our kids.
The wild, completely out of control drunk singer Amy Winehouse reportedly left a London hospital that post spending near to a at the hospital. The “Back To Black” hit maker was admitted to the exclusive London Clinic last month, with a representative claiming she was suffering from an adverse reaction to prescription medication.
Prescription medication or drugs whatever you call I shall tell what it is if at all I can describe it well, she would have fainted injected those drug into her veins and might have been found lying in the bathroom because of a routine overdose that just went through the roof.
I hope this description is a bit more subdued compared to what Amy does to herself. My advice to exclusive London Clinic is that they prepare to re-admit her the coming week. During that time they might as well name the rehab wing of the hospital after her. Sure Amy will love that.

According to close friends of the singer/addict, he’s demanded $1.6 million to walk away from his ‘marriage’ to Amy and to keep quiet about the going-ons within the marriage.

The reason why her friend disclosed this info to the News of the World because he was telling the UK media last week that he didn’t want any of her money.

Amy Winehouse, who looks much worse for every day she survives, has revealed to News of the World that her marriage to Blake-Fielder Civil is over.

It is said that the trouble never comes alone. This statement seems quite correct in the case of famous singer Amy Winehouse.
Since the start of 2008, she has faced a number of health related issues. She was even hospitalized for a while. The father of the celebrity also said that she was suffering from initial symptoms of emphysema.
Recently the distressed singer had to cancel a Paris concert due to her ailing condition. The concert was scheduled to be held on 29th August 2008.
Amy Winehouse’s spokesman told the Reuters, “Amy Winehouse was regrettably unable to perform at the Rock En Seine show in Paris due to illness. She was taken ill at her house and wasn’t able to travel to France for the concert.”
Her next outing is planned at the Bestival Fesival on the Isle of Wight next weekend.

Who says British train wrecks can’t have similar gimmicks? Lily Allen was having a good time in London last Monday night where she pulled a Wino. The singer hit up London’s Groucho club and it seems like Lily was really in a grouchy mood. On her way out, a funny drunk lady reportedly began heckling Lily. The singer responded by throwing a couple of punches. Her victim was a French girl who provoked her by calling her a “fucking asshole”. The Frenchy didn’t mind the punches though and even kept hurling more insults. A vexed Lily shouted back with “Yeah, come and say that to my face you fucking bitch.”
Wow….what is her deal? I mean, she’s the freakin’ cokehead but she wants to drag other folks into her crap.
Seems Amy’s concert this weekend was pretty exciting. Besides attacking a fan, she also attacked another celeb, for no reason apparently. As she sang, she ad libbed some love to her jailed up hubby Blake.
Then, as she performed Unholy War, she said, “I’m not opening for a c*** like Kanye.” What? Who knew she had beef with him?

Amy Winehouse may be all doped up most of the time but that’s not stopping her from winning any awards. Wino came out with the award for Best Song Musically and Lyrically for ‘Love is a Losing Game’ at the 53rd Ivor Novello Awards which was held in London on Thursday. The Ivors celebrate excellence in songwriting as hosted by the British Academy of Composers and Songwriters. In true Wino fashion, she arrived too late to claim her award so her dad Mitch and mom Janis had to accept it in her behalf. Her dad said “She’s sorry she can’t be here but she sends her love. She is getting better and she’d like to send her love to everyone at the Ivors who first recognized her talent.”
It’s official. Amy Winehouse will not record the theme for the next Bond movie ‘Quantum of Solace’.
Producer Mark Ronson has told the press that Amy is not ready to start recording “unless by some miracle of science it gets recorded and someone sings a vocal,” he said.
Ronson confirmed that they did not get as far as signing a contract to do the theme but they had recorded a demo for the Bond movie.
When Winehouse is ready to record again, Ronson will be ready to record her. “She has always made her own decisions about her music. Needless to say, this is part of the process between artist and producer and we’re sure they will continue to make great music together,” he said.
It was hoped Amy would be in a position to record the song but given the incidents in recent weeks, it may be some time before she re-enters the studio.

Singer Amy Winehouse’s jailbird husband is demanding a £3million divorce payout as he rages over being dumped.
Junkie Blake Fielder-Civil, 25, has told his lawyers he wants £250,000 for every month of their year’s marriage, despite being behind bars for part of it. And he fumed to pals after being ditched by the 24-year-old Back to Black singer: “She wouldn’t even be alive if it wasn’t for me.”
A friend said: “At first Blake refused to believe Amy had dumped him, but his initial devastation has been replaced by rage. He said Amy owes everything to him — he inspired her music and says he saved her life. As a result of Amy his life will never be the same and he wants to make her compensate him. He has demanded £3million at the very least from her £10million fortune.”
Sources at Pentonville Prison said Fielder-Civil had gone back to his old druggie ways after it was revealed Amy had bedded her manager’s assistant ALEX HAYNES, 22. He begged for heroin from another lag and inhaled it after getting his first clean drugs report in three months.
He has since been put on suicide watch at the North London jail, where he is held on remand awaiting a hearing on assault and trial-fixing charges.
Meanwhile Amy’s dad Mitch, 57, gave her new love his blessing yesterday after cutting short a Spanish holiday and flying home.
Mitch spent an hour with Amy and Alex at her mews home in Camden and was relieved to find her back on track after a wild boozy spree last week.

The Back To Black star will join him in the next few days and stay for a week to put together the biggest song of their careers. It will feature in 22nd Bond movie Quantum Of Solace, which is out in October.
A source revealed: “Amy and Mark are really excited. They see this as the biggest thing they have ever done. Mark collected her clothes and guitar to take to his place. She will join him soon and they will lock themselves away to write and record the song. They have no idea what they’re going to do. In true Amy fashion, they’re going to busk it. But I’m sure it will be brilliant. The new Bond film is supposed to be really dark so Amy will fit the bill perfectly.”
Amy went on an all-night bender after Mark’s visit, leaving her home in Camden, North London, for Soho at 4am and not returning until three hours later.
Amy has recorded her most successful material — including Grammy-winning hit Rehab — with Ronson.
My source revealed: “They’ve got a great understanding. She comes up with a basic idea and he makes it happen.”
In February movie chiefs told Amy she could do the Bond theme if she stayed clean until April.
Corinne Bailey-Rae is mourning over the sudden and tragic death of her husband. Its alleged that saxophonist Jason Rae, 31, died of a drink and drug overdose. Police found his body on Saturday in the Hyde Park area of Leeds, and subsequently arrested a 32 year old man on suspicion of supplying controlled drugs.
Rae was the saxophonist in The Haggis Horns, who’d performed with Mark Ronson and Amy Winehouse. The band have cancelled their upcoming shows.
Corinne and Jason met in a Leeds jazz club and were married in 2001.
