Amy Winehouse’s family asked for a cause of death inquest from the coroner overseeing the singer’s death, hoping to get some closure. The results of the inquest have finally been released and they paint a very sad picture. It was previously reported that Amy was working very hard to get clean in the weeks prior to her death. While no illegal drugs were found in her system and there were no signs of foul play in the initial examination, it’s been reported that the true cause of death came from the excessive amount of vodka that she had consumed. The alcohol poisoned Amy, who had been sober for up to 3 weeks prior, and the massive amounts of alcohol to her system left her body shocked. She most likely stopped breathing, which is what sent her into a coma. I wish it would have turned out differently but at least now, her loved ones know the truth.

Two movies about Amy Winehouse’s life could be made in the near future. Currently, British and American producers are looking for the perfect actress for the role of the late artist.
Some TV stations in the UK said they were interested in making a series about Amy Winehouse’s life and turned to her family for permission, announces Female First.
But not only British producers shown interest in Amy Winehouse’s life. As it turns out, also those in Hollywood would like to use Amy’s tragic story to create a blockbuster. “Amy’s life can be translated into a movie, even without the tragic end,” said a source.
Finding an actress to play the artist might be a difficult endeavor because of her particular physical features, fluctuating weight and special voice timbre.
Recently, Lady Gaga said she is interested to play Amy Winehouse in a possible movie about her life. “Lady Gaga loves Amy and she would love nothing more than to turn into her idol on the big-screen” a source told Daily Star newspaper.

Amy Winehouse has replaced drugs with alcohol in the period before her death, says a close friend of the artist.
Kristian Marr, a friend of the singer, with whom she worked for seven years, said the artist used to drink a lot of white wine and used to lost track of time.
“The problem was that she replaced drugs with alcohol. White wine was her favorite drink and sometimes she started drinking as soon as she woke. She lost track of time – for Amy, there was no day and night, Thursday or Friday.”
Her behavior could have been due to boredom, said the same friend, quoted by Female First. Thus, Amy Winehouse could have been drinking to forget the boredom and the fact that she could not get out of her flat in Camden, as paparazzi would follow her non-stop.
The British singer was found dead in her home in north London, on the afternoon of July 23rd. Cause of death remains unknown.

It’s just been reported that Amy Winehouse’s north London home had been robbed, and one of the late singer’s favorite guitars as well as copies of unreleased music, lyric books and letter are now missing. While many people are very upset about this, including Amy’s family, management and record label, sources say that her father Mitch Winehouse is the most furious. The source said “This is such a sickening shock to the family. That someone would stoop so low. They can’t get their heads around it. Mitch is livid. The family, record label and management are months away from deciding what to do with any unreleased music. For that to be taken out of their hands is horrible. Mitch is willing to give whoever has stolen the items a chance to do the right thing and put them back so it doesn’t have to get messy.” I really hope that whoever is responsible for the robbery has a change of heart and return the stolen property.

Amy Winehouse was cremated two days ago (July 26th) at Golden Green crematorium in London, after the religious ceremony attended only by family and close friends.
Reg Traviss, the singer’s ex-boyfriend, with whom she dreamed of making a home also attend the funeral.
The ceremony will followed exactly the Jewish tradition and location of the ceremony was kept secret, the family expressed the need for discretion in these disturbing times.
Winehouse’s exact cause of death remains under question, adding that the police found no drugs in the singer’s house.
Death could have occurred after consumption of dangerous amounts of alcohol. Forensic experts report will be published in about a month.
Amy Winehouse was found breathless on Saturday, July 23, 2011, at her home in Camden, London.

Video from Wednesday’s performance shows the late British singer greeting Dionne with a hug before the teen performed “Mama Said” as Amy danced along. Amy’s record label responded to the news of her death, calling her “a gifted musician, artist, and performer.” I’ve seen a lot of people pay their respect and disrespect towards Amy but I can’t deny that she was a great talent. Her music will definitely be missed. My thoughts still go out to her family and friends.

Stripper Raven Isis is claiming that she and Amy Winehouse’s current squeeze Reg Traviss have been sleeping together up until last week. The woman also said that they were madly in love until she dumped him a few days ago. An insider said “Amy was fuming with the stripper and is not one to take things lying down, if you’ll pardon the expression. She wanted to know from Reg exactly who this ‘bird’ was as she won’t be taken for a mug. Reg insisted he was innocent, and Amy heard him out. She’s sticking by her man. She had better not come face to face with the stripper though. It will be war.” Considering all the reports of the singer beating people up, I wouldn’t want to face her either. A friend of Reg’s also said “It’s nonsense. They split up ages ago, but Raven has refused to accept that he’s with Amy now. He is adamant that he has never two-timed Amy with her.”

Amy Winehouse’s third album could be coming out as early as December this year. At least that’s according to the British train wreck of a singer’s father Mitch Winehouse. He said “For sure. I think we’ll be talking about December, January – that kind of time.” Mitch also said that Wino is doing “absolutely fantastic. Her new guy is terrific.” Here’s to hoping that she stays right on track. I’m actually dying to hear new music from her so I really hope that she does get her album out by December. I have to admit that despite her many personal faults, there’s no denying that she’s an amazing talent.

Amy Winehouse has been hospitalized once again after going on yet another bender last weekend. The British train wreck of a singer returned to a private clinic for more treatment. A source said “She’s there because she had a load to drink and was really unwell afterwards. Not just sick, really poorly. But as she really likes it in there, she was happy to go in for a few days. She’s spending more time in the clinic than anywhere else at the moment.” I think that staying there is the best idea she’s had in a good long while. Maybe she could head over to a rehab center next time instead of the Caribbean.
