While the diva looks gorgeous in it, I think the visual falls short. When you have a song with lyrics like “what goes around comes back around”, I’m hoping that you’ve got at least a couple of ass kicking spots in your video.

Hollywood legend Clint Eastwood will reportedly direct Beyonce Knowles in new movie A Star is Born. According to Deadline.com, the pop star will apparently star in the entertainment icon’s musical. As of yet there no date has been set for the launch of the movie which explores the relationship between a Hollywood star and an older actor. It is not yet known who will play the male lead. The 29-year-old has previously starred in films Dreamgirls in 2005 and Cadillac Records in 2008.

Mathew released a statement via World Music Entertainment, saying “Contrary to false rumors online, Beyoncé and her manager Mathew Knowles unequivocally have had and continue to have a close personal and business relationship. Mathew Knowles is the sole and exclusive manager of Beyoncé.” Things will be staying in the family as Beyonce goes back to the studio to record her fourth album.

Beyonce has revealed that singing for President Obama on the night of his inauguration was one of her proudest moments as a performer.

In an interview with Self, the 28-year-old singer said: “Singing At Last for President Barack Obama on his inauguration night was a personal accomplishment for me, both as a performer and an American.”

The R&B star also opened up to the US fitness magazine about her charitable work, which includes opening a beauty school – the Beyonce Cosmetology Centre – and Phoenix House, a drug and alcohol treatment facility.

The singer donated her salary from 2008 movie Cadillac Records to the centre, which she visited to research her role as singer Etta James.

She said: “I watched my parents get involved in [community charities] there and that taught me how important it is to ‘give ’til it hurts’… I’ve always felt that you should give because it’s what you can do to help…”

She added: “Sisterhood means everything to me. All the charities I’m involved with are special, but I find any organisation that focuses on women and children really motivating…

“And what I took away from the clients at Phoenix House changed my life.

“These were real people who touched me so much that I had to go beyond making a donation. They’re gaining skills at the Cosmetology Centre, which will help them earn a living and find their way out of substance abuse.

“It’s a testament to the possibility of second chances.”

A paternity test reportedly proved Beyonce Knowles’s father is the father of a baby boy whose mother took him to court over child support.

Mathew Knowles is the father of Alexsandra Wright’s son, Nixon, according to TMZ.

The attorneys for Knowles and Wright are hammering out a settlement for the child’s maintenance.

Knowles, who drove the careers of Beyonce and her sister, in February was ordered to pay $8200 a month in child support by a Los Angeles judge. Wright, who claims an 18-month affair with Knowles, launched her legal action last October.

TMZ earlier reported the judge’s order includes non-insured medical insurance costs and is retroactive to February 1, with $20,750 ordered for the month of January. Nixon was born on February 4. Knowles was set to take the DNA test on March 1, with long-term support in the balance pending the result.

The apology reads “We do have serious doubts in the truth of many statements of the interview of Ms. Beyonce Knowles published in Neon, Issue January/2010. The article was written by freelancer Ingo Mocek. The editors-in-chief have confronted Ingo Mocek with these doubts. Ingo Mocek was not able to verify certain statements, particularly the statements regarding a marriage contract of Ms. Knowles. Therefore, we assume that the interview did not take place as claimed by Ingo Mocek. Neon dissociates itself from the content of the interview with Ms. Knowles. Neon subscribes to a high level standard of truthful journalism. Since Ingo Mocek has violated these standards severely, Neon has terminated all relationships with Ingo Mocek with immediate effect. We sincerely apologize to Ms. Knowles and her management for all personal inconvenience that may have arisen due to the publication of this interview.” If they had doubts, why publish it in the first place?

Special kudos has to go to the princess of pop though as the singer only appeared on the music scene two years ago and has reached the top of the chart with every single she’s ever put out.
