Members of the band Black Eyed Peas decided to take a longer breake and they won’t create music together for a while, according to nme.com. The members made the announcement themselves during a concert at Alton Towers in Staffordshire last week. After entering the stage, Fergie said to the public that this is a very special show because they will not perform in London for a long time. Fergie compared this breake to the one they had between 2005 – 2009. Will.I.Am also assured fans on Twitter that the band is not braking up for good as some tend to believe.

No one night stands for this fellow… no, the Black Eyed Peas singer recently admitted that he very rarely goes for the no commitment deal and usually sticks to the relationship arrangements. This is what will.i.am had to say on the matter: “It’s happened a couple of times. It’s very rare, one night stands. If I have been involved I stay involved.” That’s very wise of will.i.am, especially if he can manage to find the right woman and stick with her. After all, getting yourself a muse gives you a lot of inspiration and will.i.am’s line of work, he needs inspiration very much.

The Black Eyed Peas bring out a new video

The wonderfully talented people from The Black Eyed Peas are gracing us with yet another new music video, this time for a song called “The Time (Dirty Bit)”. Right off the bat, the video starts out in space which seems to be a pretty comfortable motif for will.i.am lately… then it zooms in on the earth where the aforementioned artists is singing about the time of his life… in a pretty lame way. Afterwards, the whole thing jumps to a cacophonous mixture of images and sounds. The rest of the video is just a alternation between those two bits. Again, how The Black Eyed Peas have managed to amass the fortune that they have from songs like this remains a mystery.

No Solo Album from Fergie

Rumors started up a while back that Fergie was getting ready to leave the Black Eyed Peas. Now, not only has it been confirmed that the singer is staying with the hip hop band but that she’s also not pursuing a solo album in order to focus on the group. When asked about plans to go solo, Fergie said “Definitely, in my lifetime, [but] not in the near future, no.” As for other projects, she said “We have The Beginning, which is coming out now, so I’m all about Black Eyed Peas right now… and Slash, my inner rock chick coming out in that world. I’ve got my footwear that I’m concentrating on; that’s a big [project].”

Black Eyed Peas star Fergie launches new Avon perfume

Avon calling! Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie is the latest face of the US cosmetics giant, according to reports.

Fergie, real name Stacey Ferguson, has teamed up with Avon to launch her first perfume, Outspoken, and appears in a new set of ads for the scent.

The singer-actress, 35, said: “Avon has really allowed my personality to come through.”

The fragrance, which costs $28, is said to feature notes of “frozen blackberry, starfruit, saffron, jasmine, passion flower, ebony, black leather and vetiver”.

It can be bought through Avon representatives.

“It’s fresh, but yet still modern,” Fergie said of her new signature scent.

“The process [of creating it] was amazing.”

Sources are saying that Cheryl Cole and will.i.am of the Black Eyed Peas have become very close on the hip hop band’s tour and spending most of their nights together. Other members of the band have even been teasing the two of them. A source said “Everyone has been teasing will and Cheryl about being an item and generally ripping the piss. It’s playground stuff. The backing dancers have been getting in on the act with the most childish stuff. will has a mobile studio with him and he and Cheryl are planning to spend even more time in there making music during the 17 upcoming UK and European dates. Cheryl’s been laughing about the ribbing though, saying will.i.am is more like a brother and he’s simply been showing off new beats.” I really hope that’s the case because she can do so much better!

Yes, it does look like the Girls Aloud singer really has one of those… moreover, Cheryl Cole actually decided to let everybody else in on this fairy’s identity. It is none other than Black Eyed Peas singer will.i.am. This is what Cheryl Cole said about him: “He’s like a fairy godfather to me. He’s my mentor. I was doing Girls Aloud and I was very happy with that. About a year before we agreed to take a break, I was watching TV with the girls and Will was on it and he was asked, ‘Are there any British acts you’d like to collaborate with?’ and he said, ‘There’s two: U2 and Cheryl Cole.’” So those are the credentials necessary for fairy godfathering… who would’ve known it was so easy to apply? Ashley Cole reportedly rowed with wife Cheryl about Black Eyed Peas star Will.I.Am before they split.

The 29-year-old England and Chelsea footballer was recently dumped by his Girls Aloud star wife after reports surfaced that he had cheated on her.

Before their split, Ashley had reportedly said that he was “sick” of the attention she received from the rapper.

Will.I.Am worked with Cole on her album 3 Words and had previously said that he would move to London to work with her.

A source said to UK newspaper The Sun: “Will.I.Am’s comments about his wife are not news or a surprise to Ashley. He and Cheryl rowed about it last year. She’s done absolutely nothing wrong but Ashley’s sick of this man openly making advances toward his missus.”

Ke$ha attended the NRJ Awards which was held at Palais des Festivals last weekend in Cannes, France. The 22-year old singer presented the award for Best International Group/Duo of the Year to Tokio Hotel at the ceremony. Mind you, this was the same award that got mixed up as Ke$ha’s fellow presenter initially announced that the Black Eyed Peas won and then came back a few minutes later to clear it up. Ke$ha went on her Twitter after the event saying “Cannes. Was a pleasure. Rihanna is my new crush. Jeeez she’s perfect.” I’m pretty sure that Ke$ha’s not alone in thinking that.

Tmz.com have reported that Grounded Music have claimed that Fergie’s Voodoo Doll track is “substantially and strikingly similar” to Each One Teach One by a group called Groundation.
