Britney Spears is reportedly working on a new album and there’s a Las Vegas twist on it as it is being said that Vegas kingpin George Maloof is behind it. Sources say that the album is being recorded at Maloof’s Palms Casion in Las Vegas and that former manager Larry Rudolph, who’s been back in the picture for a while, is producing the album. Maloof is trying his best to extend his arm into the music industry and is also behind Ali Lohan’s upcoming album. If he really wants to be part of the industry, supporting those two acts isn’t really the right way to do it.

Don’t worry; it’s not marriage and it’s not a kid. No, she’s working on revamping her career.

Her former, soon to be manager Larry Rudolph shares with people Britney’s plans for her new video. The video is for “Radar”, a single off of her Blackout album. Brit is shooting the video this week in London.

According to Rudolph, this video will “jumpstart her career”. Umm, wasn’t “Gimme More” supposed to do that?

At least 13 people, including some doctors, are being fired from UCLA Medical Center; Others are being suspended, and an investigation is continuing. Why? Because they spied on Britney Spears.

These people allegedly looked at her charts without authorization when she was recently held in the psych ward and when she gave birth to son Sean Preston in Santa Monica.

The director of the HR department said that the hospital treats celebrities “all the time and you never hear about thisl…I don’t know what it is about this particular person, I don’t know what it is about her.”

Britney Spears and Heidi Montag have recorded a duet together called ‘Dramatic’. It’s not what it seems though, especially when you take into account that one half of the team is a pop wreck and the other is part of ‘The Hills’. Both stars did appear on the track but it was not authorized by Brit. An insider reveals that “Heidi and Spencer got their hands on an old demo recording of Britney’s that never made it onto any of her albums… They decided to turn it into a duet instead of having Heidi re-record the song with just her vocals because they knew they’d get more press this way. ”

If you’re a celebrity, you can do what the heck to want. A normal person would have to stay in the hospital for 72 hours if they went through all the drama that Britney Spears went through on Thursday night. But the pop wreck was able to bolt from Cedars-Sinai on Saturday, not even 48 hours since she got admitted and put under psychiatric evaluation.

To make it all Hollywood and surreal, The Insider is reporting that none other than Dr. Phil McGraw paid the fallen pop star a visit on Saturday morning and was seen walking her to her car. Why would the hospital release her?

When Britney Spears’ new CD ‘Blackout’ debuted, it actually did relatively well by debuting within the top ten. People even thought that it was going to debut at number 1. But sales rapidly went down and now, the record is doing so poorly that they are actually giving it away.

But you can only get the free Britney CD if you purchase the latest Britney fragrance. It’s a case of buy one take one with the ‘one’ being Britney. That’s like buying two stinkers in one. So who would really buy this? The people who bought her CD are pretty much the only fans she has left and they know how much of a stinker her album is by now that they wouldn’t want another one even if it is free.

Britney Spears’ new CD ‘Blackout’ is expected to sell 350,000 copies in its first week of release in the US and is even expected to head to the top of the charts. However, that doesn’t mean that she would have the best-selling album.

The Eagles’ latest album, the double CD ‘Long Road Out of Eden’, is expected to sell over twice as much as Britney’s. The soft rock band is expected to sell 700,000 copies or more. What makes it even more exceptional is that their album is only available at Wal-Mart retailers.

Luckily for Britney, she’s still going to reign over the charts. Since the California rockers’ record is only being carried by one retailer, the disc is not eligible for the new Billboard Album chart. Britney will still claim the top spot but she still doesn’t have the most popular album in America.

Britney’s dance studio of choice Millennium Dance Complex held dancers’ auditions for the pop star citing a new video and a potential tour. Apparently, Britney doesn’t have any idea about it. Until recently.

Paparazzi caught Britney over the weekend and she talked to them about her next video for a song called ‘Someone’ which is set for release in December. When she was asked if any of the dancers from the auditions would be at the shoot, she said that she’s the only one who’s going to be in the video.

There’s also no official word whether she will go on tour so those dancers better hold on to their day jobs.

With Britney Spears’ falling dignity, everything goes down with it. And that includes her so-called writing skills.

Sure, she’s never been confused with a true artist before but she has been credited for writing some songs. On her last album ‘In The Zone’, she was credited as a songwriter on seven of the songs. Five songs listed her as a co-writer on her 2001 self-titled album. But on her new album ‘Blackout’, Brit is listed as a songwriter for just two of the songs.

I guess she was just too out of it this time around. But then again, it shouldn’t come as a surprise.

Britney Spears comeback album ‘Blackout’ was supposed to be released in November but it has since been moved up to October 30th.

Jive Records, Brit’s label, is now aware that songs from the pop star’s forthcoming release, unfinished material and even demos have been leaked online. A label spokesperson has gone on the record with the statement that “Due to these numerous unauthorized on-line leaks, the label is doing everything possible to prevent and avoid any further illegal distribution of songs including moving up the release date of the album to October 30th.”

I can practically hear those Halloween parties with her in the background.

I can’t believe it, really. It seems like this whole K-Fed thing really got the best of her. Bad timing to have a divorce and it’s after effects and trying to make a very strong comeback. Unless it’s magically better on Monday, this is the worst video I’ve seen of hers since Boys. Thank God the song is good. Britney: please be sober or at least know what you’re doing if you’re not, when you shoot a video that’s going to be in public. This looks like the VMA’s all over. Strippers do not make “cute” little moves like a Britney video when they are on a pole. Do your homework, and please execute them correctly. More than that though since you already did it.. Can you PLEASE remake this video.. I KNOW you can do better, and you could make this video SO much better. Put a little ‘Im a Slave 4 U’ sexiness in there at least. Just get better, don’t let your mess destroy you. Kick k-fed to the side and leave him and all those problems with him there.

She may just be on the road to getting better. In some ways, I think it may be literal too.

Britney Spears has been issued a valid license for the state of California. She was granted one on Tuesday and she recently picked her paper license at the DMV office in Van Nuys. The paper license would be valid only until a permanent one is sent in the mail. Looks like she won’t be driving around illegally anymore.

Even better news for the singer is that her song ‘Gimme More’ is #1 on the Soundscan Singles chart which is based solely on digital downloads. However, it’s highly unlikely for her to top the Billboard Hot 100 chart because radio airplay is very minimal to say the least.

I will say it’s disgusting that the creep made this comment about two American women. He has no business making any comment about killing them and in a nasty manner to boot. As far as the actual photo goes…it just reminds me of how far Britney has fallen…Madonna sucked the life and career out of her. Well he doesn’t need to do anything to Britney Spears, she fallen of grace and her career is wrecked already. Just leave Britney alone, she already has limited resources of survival. Madonna, I do not like her at all.

You guys really need to pull your head out of your X@@##!. Give the girl a break. She’s one of the most beautiful singers out there. You need to quit comparing her to other people. She’s going through a rough time right now and it’s hard to get your sh*t together when you have people judging your every move. Most of us would look just as bad in the parenting department if we had people who worked for us and paps filming our every move. Get a new topic. She’s been picked on enough. She needs everyone to back off and give her time to straighten out her act. People in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones. You guys are like a dog with a bone. You complain about everything this poor girl does. Maybe you all should take a good look in the mirror and really think about the dumb or careless things you have done. She’s young, and with the help of her family I hope she can overcome all her troubles and begin a happy, less publicized life with her children.

Are these two idiots blind or simply unfeeling as hell? The girl has been kicked and harassed to the point that she won’t even raise her head when she’s on stage and all they can say is, “Bow down one more time if you want to “deserve” our friendship?”
The girl is probably shoving everyone away because SHE IS HURT. She shaved her head for God’s sake to try and get people to leave her the X@@##! alone! It doesn’t take a X@@##! brain surgeon to see she’s stressed out nor does it take a therapist to see that what she needs is support and understanding. Britney doesn’t need friends like this. Nobody needs friends like this. Britney needs people around her who are willing to help her build her confidence again, not insist she get down on her knees and beg for forgiveness. She’s better off without them. I can’t wait until she kills herself. It’ll be sickening to see how many of these X@@##! swear they “did all they could to help her.”

Billboard magazine has picked for its first “Woman of the Year” award. The magazine says the award coincides with its second annual Women in Music issue, which will be published in early October.

Billboard Group editorial director Tamara Conniff says the country star was chosen for the honor because of her wide success in music, television, movies and publishing.

“Reba is an inspiration to women everywhere and we are delighted to be presenting her with this award,” Conniff said.

McEntire, 53, has a new album of duets coming out next week that pairs her with artists such as Justin Timberlake, Don Henley, Kelly Clarkson, Kenny Chesney, Carole King and Faith Hill.

“I am thrilled to be selected as Woman of the Year by Billboard,” McEntire said in a statement. “Although my career has taken me to TV, film and Broadway, music is and always will be my first love. I am touched to be embraced in such a warm way.”

McEntire grew up on a cattle ranch in Oklahoma, where her father, Clark McEntire, was a champion calf roper.

After being discovered by cowboy singer Red Steagall in 1974, she struggled through the late ’70s to build a singing career in Nashville. She scored her first major hit in 1980 with “(You Lift Me Up) to Heaven.” Her other No. 1 hits include “Little Rock” and “What Am I Gonna Do About You.”

Amen to that!!! Imagine if Britney works out for a year…and stays out of the press being careful to keep her body covered…and then “Bam”…she returns to show off her new hard body? That would blow everyone away!!! And I could see her return with an album called “Breaking The Addiction”…an album about her rise and fall…and her return to believing in herself again and getting cleaned-up from addiction…and not only addiction to drugs or alcohol, but addiction to people and bad behavior. It could be a really wonderful “Theme Album”…about finding her self esteem again, and learning to put her kids first, and thus finding her path back to being a good mother, and mending fences with her family and fans!!! This, as well as learning to cut certain so-called friends out of her life, who have only acted to lead her toward the cliff of self destruction, not away from it, for the sole purpose of using her for her name, money and her fame. Now, that’s the album that I want to hear…one that will win Grammy after Grammy!!!

Britney Spears – the next Sanjaya? American Idol, which seems to specialize in turning embarrassing performances into gold, has offered to do a little of the same for Spears “We have decided we can bring Britney back,” Idol judge Simon Cowell says in offering to help Spears’s career. “We are serious. We plan to buy her underpants, get her bigger shorts to perform in and get her away from her stupid friends.” So the idea is simple get her under garments so that her fat ass is not exposed again, nice boxing shorts so she looks like more fatter, and get her away from her stupid friends and then have Paula Abdul, Randy Jackson and Simon as friends who are even bad if not worse. This is the mantra that the American Idol judges have to ruin a career that’s finished and being thrown into the ocean already. Please the only help she needs right now is to forget her and do not pay attention to her, she’s a grown lady and a mom, she can take care of herself if someone allows her to do so.

Britney Spears will be the opening act at this year’s MTV Video Music Awards. The 25-year-old singer will perform ”Gimme More” - the first single from her upcoming album - at Sunday’s event in Las Vegas, MTV announced Thursday. She’s 25? i thought she was 13 judging by her behavior. I’ve known 12 yr olds with better behavior. I’ve been thinking long and hard about criticizing her and I think she is really just troubled. If she doesn’t get help (and not from someone else’s urging-she needs to do it on her own) then she’s going to hit rock bottom (if she hasn’t already) and who knows what will happen then. But all things said and done I can’t wait to she her perform coz this performance will be the defining moment in her career, either she gets it right and make a huge impact and resurrects her career and more importantly her life or she get it wrong starts crying on the stage and get finished for one last time.
