It seems that after splitting from Jessica Biel, Justin Timberlake found that he really, really missed out on her… friendship. So the two decided to remain friends with the benefit of a bit of intimacy here and there: “Justin was very clear with Jessica that he didn’t want to be in a serious relationship with her anymore where he wasn’t able to date other people. Jessica took the news very hard, but once she calmed down and they started talking again, he convinced her to stay friends who hook up, without all the pressure of a relationship. Carrie Underwood gave her boyfriend, hockey player Mike Fisher, a shout out on the pamphlet of her new CD ‘Play On’ which is in stores now. Here’s the touching note that the country singer wrote for Mike “Thank you #12 (Mike’s jersey number for the Ottawa Senators). You are the most amazing addition to my life! Singer Adam Lambert and his boyfriend, interior designer Drake LaBry, are calling it quits – at least that’s according to a source close to the now former couple. The source said “The relationship just ran its course. The break-up was mutual and amicable. They remain friends and still care for each other.” When one of the people involved happens to be in the entertainment industry, that reason is kind of hard to believe. I wonder what the real reason is for their break up. They’ve been pretty all up on each other up until a couple of weeks ago. I wonder if the American Idol alum has found someone else.

Taylor Swift has deftly side-stepped the question on everyone’s lips, leaving Ellen Degeneres grasping at air.

The talk show host steered Swift to her relationship with Taylor Lautner but the savvy country singer dodged the bait. She did reveal, however, that there was a problem in her and Lautner making the movie Valentine’s Day.

Cast and crew were falling over themselves to give directions to “Taylor”, getting the rumoured lovebirds hopelessly mixed up.

“Everybody was confused, so halfway through the day [I said], ‘You call him Taylor, and you call me Swifty.’ Problem solved.”

The poised Swift spoke eloquently about her commitment to making the US a better place.

She also laughed off jokes about how much money she has made since her album, Fearless, sold more than four million copies. She said simply: “I actually just wrapped up the first leg of my first headlining tour, which I am so excited [about].”

The passion erupting between Russell Brand and Katy Perry ate up television screens around the world as the lovebirds openly made out in steamy Los Angeles.

Perry propped herself on a fence and wrapped her legs about Brand, when they were reunited in Tinsel Town. They were seen out at a Hollywood party.

They earlier logged some solid romantic hours in the City of Light for Paris Fashion Week. A string of former lady friends of the heart-throb Brand were suddenly heard weighing in on Perry’s prospects.

But Brand is clearly enraptured over the American singer and daughter of evangelical Christians. Perry was even said to be rushing him forward into meeting the folks – to get it out the way. Perry revealed the pair already has a song: Whatever Happens, I Love You, by Steven Morrissey. Brand is said to be having the chorus tattooed on his body: “Cold loving prose, we stole each other’s clothes/But when all is said and done, it’s you I love.”

Things are heating up for Russell Brand and Katy Perry.

Brand, the wild and woolly lothario, is getting set to meet Perry’s folks, who are evangelical Christians.

Perry is said to be desperate for Brand to meet her parents, pastors Keith and Mary Hudson.

A source said: “Katy is as besotted with Russell as he is with her. However, her parents are extraordinarily strict Christians. Katy is sure that, after a bit of getting used to him, they would approve of Russell, but she wants to get that initial meeting out of the way as early as she can.”

The Hudsons run an evangelical ministry in Temecula, south of LA, and can officiate a wedding. The source continued: “Keith and Mary are devoted to the church and hold the institution of marriage as a central core of their beliefs. They are genuinely happy for their daughter, but want to give Russell the once-over to check that he is, in fact, as suitable as Katy claims.”

Justin Timberlake’s grandmother, Sadie Bomar recently opened up to Closer magazine to give some details on the singer’s ambivalence to commitment. She said “Jessica [Biel] was keen to marry, but Justin isn’t ready. He’s busy writing new material and he works hard to be successful – he’s really focused on that. As far as we’re concerned, he’s always been single. The girlfriends come and go, but we believe nothing has ever been serious. Justin does his own thing and he isn’t ready to marry just yet.” Supposedly, the couple is re-evaluating their two and a half year long relationship amidst rumors that they have split.

Country singer Taylor Swift has said that it is hard to get over a relationship with a celebrity because there are constant reminders of them everywhere.

The Love Story singer, who has recently been in the spotlight following the much-publicised incident with rapper Kanye West at the MTV Video Music Awards, has said she finds it hard to get over celebrity exes because of the constant reminders of them in the media.

Asked whether she finds getting over break-ups easy, the 19-year-old said: “Not when they’re on pencil sharpeners, T-shirts and the sides of buses, like Joe [Jonas]! But, some day, I’ll find the right person [and] I won’t even remember the boy who broke up with me over the phone in 27 seconds.”

Swift also revealed that she writes songs about ex-boyfriends.

She added: “If guys don’t want me to write bad songs about them, then don’t do bad things!”

The singer admitted that her song Forever And Always is based on her ex, Joe Jonas, who she split from last October.

She said: “It’s about watching somebody completely fade away in a relationship and wondering what you did wrong.”

Madonna’s toyboy Jesus Luz wants to be a DJ.

The Brazilian-born male model is looking to branch out and be known for more than just his looks.

So Madonna and her music contacts are trying to help him get gigs spinning records.

A source said: “[He] has his mind set on becoming a professional DJ. Madonna and her friends are trying to get him established. He really wants to be more than just a model.”

Luz, 22, is said to have found his new passion after jumping behind the wheels of steel at a recent concert by Madonna, 50.

Pop star Rihanna is hoping for a romantic slam-dunk with a top basketball player.

The R&B beauty was spotted at Game 4 of the NBA finals in Orlando last week, sitting just yards from ex-boyfriend Chris Brown.

Rihanna reportedly ignored her ex, who she has been ordered to testify against in court, and only has eyes for Orlando Magic player, Rashard Lewis.

“Rihanna is trying to get to know Rashard… and she hopes the feeling is mutual,” says a source.

“It’s Rashard she wants. She thinks he’s hotter than hot.”

The singer has reportedly had very much strain on her relationship ever since she moved to Los Angeles to work on her career. A source said the following about Leona Lewis and her boyfriend, Lou Al-Chamaa, who is still in London: “They are still in love, but Leona’s lifestyle is making things really hard. Her career is doing so well, but to keep growing as a singer, she has to work even harder. Unfortunately, this leaves her very little time to work on her relationship. It could already be over.” Strange that this never even came up until now… it’s interesting how it takes a break-up or the prospect of a break-up to bring a relationship into view. Oh well, now I guess we’ll all be more interested in seeing who Leona Lewis will be seen with later on.

Actress Scheana Marie has talked about her relationship with musician John Mayer and said he’s not her “boyfriend” but they have been hanging out.

The 23-year-old revealed she met Mayer, 31, last year when he was still dating actress Jennifer Aniston, 40, but chatted again after they split.

She told Young Hollywood: “I work at the Grand Havana Room in Beverly Hills and he had his birthday party there last year. I happen to be the lucky girl who got to work it. When I met him he was with Jennifer. She was so sweet.”

Marie said she met up with Mayer again this year when he made a return to the club after his split with Aniston.

She said: “He came back into the club. We kind of talked. He’s not my boyfriend, we’re hanging out. You can leave it to the imagination. We have a good time… that’s all. I love his personality and I just love that he’s funny.”

Asked if Mayer is a good kisser, she said: “He has really nice lips.”

Natalie Mejia has denied that she is dating Chris Brown – claiming the pair are just friends.

The Girlicious singer, who was spotted with Brown at a tattoo parlour in West Hollywood over the weekend distanced herself from reports that her and Brown are an item, while out in Venice Beach on Monday.

When asked by photographers if anything was going on between her and the ‘Superhuman’ star, Mejia replied: “Nothing. We are just friends.”

After being pushed furthermore about the rumours, Mejia said: “No comment,” before wishing the paparazzi well and heading off in her convertible Audi.

Mejia, 20, was spotted hanging out with Brown, 19, at Chateau Marmont and then at a tattoo parlour on Sunset Boulevard on Saturday.

Mejia is a member of the Girlicious Band, a four piece act that was born out of a reality show ‘The Pussycat Dolls:Girlicious’ in 2008.

Natalie is of Mexican heritage and was homeschooled, getting enough credit to get her diploma early.

She studied dancing at the Millennium Dance Complex, famous for schooling Britney Spears.

Mejia is well-known among the band’s fanbase for wearing T-Shirts with messages on during performances, including ‘Latinas Do It Better’ and ‘Beauty Is A Talent.’

Earlier today reports suggested that Brown is back together with his ex-girlfriend, Erica Jackson.

According to New York’s Daily News, the University of Mary Washington student recently has started dating Brown again. "[Chris and Erica] met in Virginia, where he’s from," an unidentified source close to the singer reportedly told the paper. "They dated back in the day and reconnected a few weeks ago when Chris was in town. They’ve been spending a lot of time together, but things only really heated up over the last two weeks.”

The singer has some very interesting criteria in selecting her boyfriends. Duffy said the following about how she likes her men: “Don’t ask me on a date by text. Dress up and book a nice restaurant. Ask my parents’ permission. I like old-school romance. And don’t fuck with me. Taylor Swift just posted a really funny video blog chock full of goodies. The 18-year old country singer is now able to laugh about her split from Joe Jonas who broke up with her over the phone last month. At one point in the video, Taylor holds up a ‘Camp Rock’ doll of Joe and jokingly said “See, this one even comes with a phone, so he can break up with other dolls.” A few seconds after that, she holds up both the Joe doll and a Taylor doll and says “Stay away from him, okay?” Other parts of the video include Rascal Flatts pulling a prank on her, Halloween with her band and performances.

Several reports have said that John Mayer and Jennifer Aniston are over. The pair have not been seen together for 3 weeks now after Jen pretty much acted like a groupie. John recently took a vacation to Mexico without Jen and Jen went out on the town without John. The Mirror says that Jen was dumped by the singer saying “The pair initially decided to spend some time apart… before making the break official earlier this week.” A source close to John also said “There’s been a bit of tension for some time. They initially opted for a break, hoping a trial split might make them stronger. Sadly it doesn’t seem to have worked. John took the decision to end things as he felt he just wasn’t ready for the level of commitment that Jennifer deserved. Initially, Jennifer was furious when he told her of his decision but now she’s simply sad – not to mention a little heartbroken…”

Everyone knows she’s cursed. Speaking of fears, Jessica recently talked about her fears about her recent move from pop to country saying “I think my biggest fear was failure. I realized what makes this record successful is that I actually made it because I was so afraid of failure and I was so afraid to sing again and I was so afraid to be judged, and I’ve been broken so many times, but I do know my calling in life and I do know that God gave me a voice to use it and that it would be a shame if I let fear get the best of me.”

Nelly and Ashanti are ‘definitely very much still together’.

The ‘Hot in Here’ rapper and ‘Foolish’ singer – who have been romantically linked since 2003 – are still reported to be dating, despite rumours they had split up earlier this month.

Reports their relationship had ended emerged when Ashanti was quoted as saying, “I’m dating my new album, and no-one else”, but the 27-year-old singer has since insisted she was misquoted.

A source close to the couple said: “Nelly and Ashanti are very happy. They are definitely very much still together.”

Earlier this year, Ashanti hinted she wanted to marry the 33-year-old musician. When asked if she was engaged to Nelly, Ashanti held up her left hand to show a bare ring finger and laughed: “Oh no. Noooo! No engagement. But definitely in the future. Ha ha!”

She added: “Me and Nelly, we’re good friends. We kick it – hang out a lot. The industry is very hard, so it’s good to have fun and lighten it up.”

Earlier this week, it was claimed Nelly was dating British soul singer Joss Stone, who was said to be “smitten” with the rapper. The reports have not been confirmed.
