And allow me to be a powerful woman. And allow me to be powerful in the relationship. I’m not going to give up my role in this life to just be a housewife. What is attractive to me about a man is a man’s spirituality. Just the way that he carries himself. I kind of like a rough man a little bit. A man’s man.”

In a recent interview Matt Kemp apparently tried his best to conceal what is vastly becoming a very obvious fact: that he is in a Relationship with Rihanna. When asked about the matter this is what Matt Kemp responded: “That’s just a good friend of mine. A very very good friend of mine. And we enjoy hanging out with each other and we’re just having fun.” Rihanna must sure find it easy to work on her new album seeing as how she’s got somebody who covers for her so well. Maybe it’s best to just leave the two alone… one of them will come out with it eventually. After all, no deer ever walked out into a hunter’s range simply because everybody kept telling it to get out of the woods.
It looks like the rumors that are portending the reconciliation of Selena Gomez and Taylor Lautner might actually have some truth behind them. When asked about the singer
‘s well-being, her Disney colleague, Demi Lovato, answered that Taylor is the right person to be asked about it. Not only is Selena Gomez back with her old flame, but it seems they’re setting fire to a few of those around them. At least Taylor Swift is burning up over this new development of things. Selena Gomez’s actor buddies at Disney don’t seem to be too happy about it though… maybe a cat-fight is on the horizon. After all, Taylor Lautner is more than a reasonable prize.
Taylor Swift lent her amazing vocals on John Mayer’s new album and it is being said that it may have led to something more. Star Magazine is reporting that the country singer and the pop rock star were spotted sharing “an intimate dinner” earlier this month in Santa Monica. A source said “They came in together and got a private table in a corner of the restaurant. They DEFINITELY looked like a couple. John was telling stories and she was hanging on his every word.” I really hope that this was just a casual dinner between friends. Taylor is way out of John’s league.
Even though the singer has on more than one occasion professed her love for Billy Corgan from Smashing Pumpkins, it seems that the two are not actually together, so to speak. Or at least this is what a friend of Jessica Simpson’s said about the two: “Jessica loved spending so much time in and out of the studio with Billy. She’s in awe of his musical prowess, and it adds to her feelings for him, but they are not dating.” Well, technically, they don’t really have to date to have a relationship, now do they? That’s all just modern-day voodoo. If they both love music so much they could just spend all of their time in the studio away from prying eyes and make music together. What is all of this nonsense with dating anyway?
It looks like things just have an interesting way of happening over and over again. Justin Timberlake has supposedly split up with Jessica Biel… again. But this time it’s apparently for real, no soggy speeches, no goodbye hugs, just a cold split and the perspective of going their separate ways. It’s amazing it actually took Jessica Biel until now to come to this decision. As for Justin Timberlake, he’s got Rihanna to amuse himself with, at least for a little longer. After all, she’s not down in Africa climbing mountains instead of partying, a much desirable trait for Justin Timberlake.
It seems the singer and her boyfriend Russell Brand have had their relationship blessed in India. This is what a source said about Katy Perry’s new romantic endeavor: “Russell wanted to do something special for Katy to show her how much she means to him. They wanted to take part in a traditional ceremony and thought there was no better time than on New Year’s Eve. The ceremony is usually used to bless new couples in the hope it might lead them toward marriage.” Do these two really need any more hopes of getting married? It’s strange though, given how much Russell Brand loves Katy Perry and how swell they get along, you would’ve expected them to have done it a long time ago. What are they waiting for? The right planet alignment?
Taylor Swift and Taylor Lautner have split, and were never all that serious in the first place, sources tell a US website.
“It was never a big deal to begin with. The media made way more out of it than it is,” a source close to Swift says. “They went out on a few dates and realised this was just not going anywhere.”
A Lautner source corroborated that perspective, adding that the fact the two rising stars lived so far apart was a big factor in the low-key break-up.
“They became good friends and then went out a few times, but he lives in LA and she lives in Nashville and their busy schedules kept it from becoming more than it was,” the source told the website.
Representatives for Lautner and Swift had no comment.
The day after Lautner, 17, made a December 12 Saturday Night Live appearance in which he “defended” Swift’s honor, he flew down to Nashville to surprise Swift for her 20th birthday party. Sometime after the party, the pair decided that it made more sense just to remain friends.
Jessica Biel said it’s ‘weird’ to have her relationship with Justin Timberlake constantly scrutinised.
The 27-year-old is rarely out of the media glare and she said it’s strange to have the union constantly in the media spotlight.
She said: “It’s definitely been weird and sort of bizarre to deal with. But you have to have a sense of humour about the whole thing. Honestly, I look at a magazine and they know more than I do.
“You do really have to just get into a place where you feel Zen about it – take a deep breath and know that somebody is going to be taking your picture while you’re going to the laundry and picking up your dry-cleaning.”

Singer Adam Lambert and his boyfriend, interior designer Drake LaBry, are calling it quits – at least that’s according to a source close to the now former couple. The source said “The relationship just ran its course. The break-up was mutual and amicable. They remain friends and still care for each other.” When one of the people involved happens to be in the entertainment industry, that reason is kind of hard to believe. I wonder what the real reason is for their break up. They’ve been pretty all up on each other up until a couple of weeks ago. I wonder if the American Idol alum has found someone else.
Taylor Swift has deftly side-stepped the question on everyone’s lips, leaving Ellen Degeneres grasping at air.
The talk show host steered Swift to her relationship with Taylor Lautner but the savvy country singer dodged the bait. She did reveal, however, that there was a problem in her and Lautner making the movie Valentine’s Day.
Cast and crew were falling over themselves to give directions to “Taylor”, getting the rumoured lovebirds hopelessly mixed up.
“Everybody was confused, so halfway through the day [I said], ‘You call him Taylor, and you call me Swifty.’ Problem solved.”
The poised Swift spoke eloquently about her commitment to making the US a better place.
She also laughed off jokes about how much money she has made since her album, Fearless, sold more than four million copies. She said simply: “I actually just wrapped up the first leg of my first headlining tour, which I am so excited [about].”

But Brand is clearly enraptured over the American singer and daughter of evangelical Christians. Perry was even said to be rushing him forward into meeting the folks – to get it out the way. Perry revealed the pair already has a song: Whatever Happens, I Love You, by Steven Morrissey. Brand is said to be having the chorus tattooed on his body: “Cold loving prose, we stole each other’s clothes/But when all is said and done, it’s you I love.”

Things are heating up for Russell Brand and Katy Perry.
Brand, the wild and woolly lothario, is getting set to meet Perry’s folks, who are evangelical Christians.
Perry is said to be desperate for Brand to meet her parents, pastors Keith and Mary Hudson.
A source said: “Katy is as besotted with Russell as he is with her. However, her parents are extraordinarily strict Christians. Katy is sure that, after a bit of getting used to him, they would approve of Russell, but she wants to get that initial meeting out of the way as early as she can.”
The Hudsons run an evangelical ministry in Temecula, south of LA, and can officiate a wedding. The source continued: “Keith and Mary are devoted to the church and hold the institution of marriage as a central core of their beliefs. They are genuinely happy for their daughter, but want to give Russell the once-over to check that he is, in fact, as suitable as Katy claims.”
Justin Timberlake’s grandmother, Sadie Bomar recently opened up to Closer magazine to give some details on the singer’s ambivalence to commitment. She said “Jessica [Biel] was keen to marry, but Justin isn’t ready. He’s busy writing new material and he works hard to be successful – he’s really focused on that. As far as we’re concerned, he’s always been single. The girlfriends come and go, but we believe nothing has ever been serious. Justin does his own thing and he isn’t ready to marry just yet.” Supposedly, the couple is re-evaluating their two and a half year long relationship amidst rumors that they have split.
Country singer Taylor Swift has said that it is hard to get over a relationship with a celebrity because there are constant reminders of them everywhere.
The Love Story singer, who has recently been in the spotlight following the much-publicised incident with rapper Kanye West at the MTV Video Music Awards, has said she finds it hard to get over celebrity exes because of the constant reminders of them in the media.
Asked whether she finds getting over break-ups easy, the 19-year-old said: “Not when they’re on pencil sharpeners, T-shirts and the sides of buses, like Joe [Jonas]! But, some day, I’ll find the right person [and] I won’t even remember the boy who broke up with me over the phone in 27 seconds.”
Swift also revealed that she writes songs about ex-boyfriends.
She added: “If guys don’t want me to write bad songs about them, then don’t do bad things!”
The singer admitted that her song Forever And Always is based on her ex, Joe Jonas, who she split from last October.
She said: “It’s about watching somebody completely fade away in a relationship and wondering what you did wrong.”

The Brazilian-born male model is looking to branch out and be known for more than just his looks.
So Madonna and her music contacts are trying to help him get gigs spinning records.
A source said: “[He] has his mind set on becoming a professional DJ. Madonna and her friends are trying to get him established. He really wants to be more than just a model.”
Luz, 22, is said to have found his new passion after jumping behind the wheels of steel at a recent concert by Madonna, 50.

Pop star Rihanna is hoping for a romantic slam-dunk with a top basketball player.
The R&B beauty was spotted at Game 4 of the NBA finals in Orlando last week, sitting just yards from ex-boyfriend Chris Brown.
Rihanna reportedly ignored her ex, who she has been ordered to testify against in court, and only has eyes for Orlando Magic player, Rashard Lewis.
“Rihanna is trying to get to know Rashard… and she hopes the feeling is mutual,” says a source.
“It’s Rashard she wants. She thinks he’s hotter than hot.”
The singer has reportedly had very much strain on her relationship ever since she moved to Los Angeles to work on her career. A source said the following about Leona Lewis and her boyfriend, Lou Al-Chamaa, who is still in London: “They are still in love, but Leona’s lifestyle is making things really hard. Her career is doing so well, but to keep growing as a singer, she has to work even harder. Unfortunately, this leaves her very little time to work on her relationship. It could already be over.” Strange that this never even came up until now… it’s interesting how it takes a break-up or the prospect of a break-up to bring a relationship into view. Oh well, now I guess we’ll all be more interested in seeing who Leona Lewis will be seen with later on.
