Apart from having her multi million Live Nation deal and having one of the biggest hits all over the world with ‘4 Minutes (To Save the World)’, the Queen of Pop is reportedly about to close a deal to play 2 concerts in the money rich place of Dubai. The deal is worth $25 million! For 2 gigs? Damn! A source close to the negotiations has stated that “Madonna is about to break another record by playing the most lucrative concert of her whole career – or anyone’s career for that matter.” Does anyone else want to have Madonna’s life for a day?
Kylie Minogue is in a spin after Madonna poached her choreographers on the eve of the Aussie’s big comeback tour.
Madonna snapped up the Talaguega Brothers – Richmond and Tone – despite the pair agreeing to work with the Pop Pincess on her KYLIEX2008 dates, which start on May 6. And the move shows an announcement of Madonna’s tour dates is just around the corner.
A source revealed: “Rich and Tone are hot property. “They had agreed to do Kylie’s tour but then Madonna came calling. You don’t turn down the Queen Of Pop – even if you’ve made an arrangement with the Princess.”
The move sent Kylie’s team into a panic.
Michael Rooney – who worked on the Spice Girls’ comeback tour – was due to share the choreography duties with the dance duo but now takes sole responsibility.
Madge swooped when she began to finalize her tour plans to follow the April 28 release of album Hard Candy.
My source revealed: “Rich and Tone worked with Madonna on her world tour in 2006.By the time she realized she wanted them again they had agreed to go with Kylie. But Madge won.”
The pair were discovered free styling at a club in California. They have also worked with Diana Ross, Pink, J-lo, Black Eyed Peas, X-Tina Aguilera and Gwen Stefani.

A wrinkle-free Queen of Pop looked absolutely breathtaking at the Gucci event in New York City on Wednesday – a Night to Benefit Raising Malawi and UNICEF at the United Nations. While everyone knows that she can’t be that flawless naturally, I applaud her for knowing when to get work done and how much to get done. At least she doesn’t look like wax.

False internet reports ran rampant on Monday quoting the singer saying that she would rather share a stage with a pig than with Jennifer Lopez. Mariah got wind of it and has gone on the record saying that the reports are “a complete untruth.†She adds “This is just some Internet gossip and it’s pathetic that people actually entertain the thought that this could be real. The 2007 World Music Awards which was held at the Monte Carlo Sporting Club in Monte Carlo, Monaco on Sunday was truly a star-studded event. Even the Prince of Monaco was there!Julian McMahon of ‘Nip/Tuck’ was the host of the event which was attended by the likes of Rihanna, Avril Lavigne and Ciara. Rihanna was nominated and was also slated as a performer at the show. She looked gorgeous as ever in a flashy green gown. Avril, though I never really liked her sense of style, has made some improvement with her strapless black dress and Doc Martens. Props to Ciara for working two different but equally gorgeous outfits.

In the past, the singer/actress’ list of requirements has included items such as white drapes and white couches, yellow roses with a red trim, and room temperature Evian water. And the list goes on and on to the extent that one could fill a full page of her demand, most of you might have read it too – her morning breakfast, time for meal and other things. But guys do not feel jealous and do not envy her for this, she is one of the best in the business today and she deserves every bit and more. When we like to see our favorite stars perform then they are entitled to these luxuries. At least the ticket prices of her concerts are not priced at $2000 like those of the Eagles, so that we can see her live on stage dancing and singing some great numbers.

While everyone agrees that the diva looked divine at last week’s Save the Music Foundation gala but it took a whole third world country to keep her that way. NY Daily News is reporting that Mariah needed 9 staffers to perform “a ballet of maintenance†on her all night. There was even one whose only job was to “dispense breast tapeâ€, one with brushes and hair spray and even one with portable hot rollers.

I pretty much assumed that any celebrity who is famous on MTV is probably an asshole in real life. I just wasn’t surprised to hear that Nelly Furtado is a jerk when she goes to restaurants. Well famous people can pretty much get away with treating anyone anyway they want and that’s the sad truth. I can see both Nelly and Justin being big-headed divas who want nothing but what they want and go to Rain just because of the status. Can’t say I’m surprised to hear that about Furtado. I spent a year while in high school working part-time at a five-star establishment, where lots of famous people dined and stayed in the adjoining hotel. Not all, but sadly a lot of them have superiority complexes. What those assholes don’t know tho is…the meals that end up on their tables or room service trays usually aren’t in the best sanitary state…if you know what I mean. She’s just another typical spoiled, vapid and ungrateful celebrity. And her music sucks too.
The term ‘diva’ doesn’t have to apply to just women you know? The blue-eyed soul singer Robin Thicke is out to prove that to the world. It seems like touring with Beyonce has done things on his attitude.
Robin threw a scene-stealing tantrum in the lobby of the Dream Hotel in New York City Thursday morning. He arrived at the hotel to check in only to find out that his room wasn’t ready yet. A witness says that he was banging his hands on the front desk, yelling at the staff in the lobby and was really making an ugly scene.
He then went to Serafina for breakfast but still kept ranting about it. Damn baby!

The 39 year old singer, who launched her pop career with a cover of Little Eva’s 1962 hit The Loco-motion in her native Australia on August 198, has even requested her two grandmothers to fly in London from Melbourne to attend the party. And when it is Kylie throwing the party he cost could well be in tune of a million dollars and that should be a surprise at all. They really know who to celebrate and we can see the who’s who the music and entertainment world at the party for sure.
